I don’t have a TV and so have missed out on seeing the bulk of your shows. It’s great to see you pushing a more content on to RUclips 😁 It’s a great platform for this type of show. I’m really enjoying the build 😁 Things seem to be going well but there’s always the slightest hint of a ‘but’ 😂
This is great! I grew up in Tassie watching you guys when there were only 3 channels on the telly (or was it 4? Maybe SBS already began broadcasting in Tas when you guys started...). Even though I'm not into fishing I always enjoyed Hook Line & Sinker for the laughs and muckin' around. I especially appreciate this now coz I live overseas, and doesn't look like I'll be able to get back to Tassie again in the near future. Wish there was more local Tassie content being made. Bring back the Saturday Morning Fun Show! Anyway, thanks!
@@hooklinesinkertv where you were standing sure as hell wasn't what people consider a cockpit area and the helm is the same thing as the cockpit. However, you're stating a cargo or aft deck area as a cockpit. you are confused.
Hello this is a great show i've had to to replace the transom and stringers i used cca thermolite was going to do it myself but decided that was not a good idea, a Professional did the job. In the discussions for the repairs i asked him about a pod in the end decided not to do that. After watching your show very glad we didn't do that, as it was it cost $11,000 that in included some other work as well i've learnt how to fibreglass it not hard to do, sanding is the pits. I'll look forward to the next installment
How fast things change nowadays. The 350 was back then the largest OB available. Now Mercury have just released their V12 600 Hp beast! Imagine a pair of those on the back of the Carribean beast! 😍😳😳😂😂👍🇦🇺
@@hooklinesinkertv They are only 572 kilos each. Versus 354 kilo for the Yam 350. But yes hanging a pair at 1.140 tonnes off the back you might need a bit bigger pod! About 25 foot of pod on the back of the 25 berty ought be enough! 😜😂😂👍🇦🇺
Team, if your bracket is too low you will miss the benefit of the step on the transom.... and therefore all the rest of the benefits of installing a bracket. all the best.
Just started researching old Berty's and there's some good info here guys, presented in an easy to watch format! Good advertising for the vendors too.

glad to see you back.. loved the original beast.. looking forward to the next one.
the cockpit is where the steering wheel is. that other area you're calling the cockpit is the fishing and lower deck area is. wow just wow.
What’s the helm? Always keen to learn more?
@@hooklinesinkertv ha ha... that won't be an Aussie mate... he will have no idea about taking the piss and will think you're serious

I loved how the Beast turned out.

What location are you guys filming when your on the water?
At first glance I thought Trumpeter Bay Bruny Island but now I'm not so sure.
Cheers

You lads need more prime time
Love the show, 👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺
One would have to ask how it could possibly be cost effective to replace an inboard V8 with a 350hp outboard. 🤔
look at the bottom of an ARMSTRONG bracket and look at yours you can see the mistake. yours will work but not as much as it could
The crowning glory is that Why would you do that. 30 40k. Rebuild 20k.
You f'd that boat.
