- This is the music from the game Yu-Gi-Oh: The Eternal Duelist Soul, when you duel against anyone of the Rare Huneters (Rare Hunter, Strings, Arkana and Umbra & Lumis).
The only game where the Rare Hunters will ACTUALLY TAKE AWAY A RARE CARD FROM YOU IF YOU LOSE.

@@AtillaTheFun1337 Yeah, the Ghoul woth the Exodia deck beate and he took my Mirror Force. I thought it was a bluff so I checked and that extra copy of Mirror Force I had was actually gone from my Trunk.

I run a deckout setup with Needle Worms, Morphing Jars, Delinquent Duo, and Gravekeeper's Servants, so Rare Hunter has always been easy cheese for me.
I didn't know steve was in this game.

was I the only one who got legit scared of these encounters as a kid? the music definitely sells the danger
Exodia scared me as a kid - I always just mashed A to get past the enemy turn, and the screen suddenly going dark when it's not 'supposed' to always made me jump.
I remember reading on GameRevolution rumors that there were secret characters you could get from beating this or that duelist 50 times, and I probably had 20 or 30 wins against most guys, but the Exodia carriers I only beat enough times to unlock the next set.
I remember I was like: "stop using pot od greed! stop!"
This track really hot home the fact that you were definitely gonna get robbed and there ain't shit you could do about it

Ah, this will always remind me of my first duel vs Rare Hunter in Stairway to the Destined Duel. My first YGO game (so, I was quite a noob with a slow deck) and my first encounter with a ghoul. It was such a great feeling to be thinking the entire time "what is his strategy???" and then suddenly: EXODIA! I did recognize it from the anime from Yugi vs Kaiba (anime was still at Duelist Kingdom here, didn't know yet who Rare Hunter was), but never expected Rare Hunter to also use it! Situations like that sometimes makes me wish I was still a noob at the game.

surprisingly only yugi moto pulled off an exodia against me
If the mysterious hooded men didn't do the trick, this music made it 100% clear that this was the point in the game where shit was about go down

lol when i first dueled the rare hunters it was when they approach u first. and when i fight them i get scared i was gonna lose cuz i didnt want them 2 take my cards! lol

I get paranoid so fast with the dude with Exodia. Knowing the game had crappy cards in it, I tried to deplete his life points before he got all parts x.x
