@@DragoonCenten lol jojo bizzare heritage played it. The difference between heritagr and puppet character was most had access to it and played jojo all stars alot more enjoyable even though ik the balance for both those games arent even to be taken serious cause of how bs the game is.
Guilty gear yea ive seen gameplay and been warn how bad the balancing is for that game to.
It would be different if they balanced puppet characters properly but they alwayz have to much bs with them that makes them skilless anyone who sits there watching youtube combos all the time will have 0 issue mastering it.
It would be different if games gave them a proper weakness that could be exploited but fighting games these dats refuse to give them that or people will complain there to weak.
@@DragoonCenten but dont worry if i had to choose my poison id rathee deal with viola in 6 then 2b. To me adding 2b was the worst mistake ever and shes litterly a jack of all trades with no weakness. Atleast back in 5 if i closed the gap with mitsurugi puppet characters in some cases are cooked.
2b just has the answer to everything thats why i dont play sc6 anymore on top of bad netcode and my favorite mitsurugi being sc4.
They need to hire you for sc7💯

I was late to SC6 due to finances and I’ve played SC4 & SCV way more.
Seeing the “old” characters in SC6 gives me joy.

I wish they’d bring Z.W.E.I. back in Soul Calibur 6. Either that or maybe have him as a playable character in Soul Calibur 7 when it comes out.
Taki's Violent Edge looks great, and I highly prefer the original Critical Edge.
I wanna be honest, I think most of them are a bit too much of an overkill and a bit too long for my taste. I still commend your work tho!
Absolutely agree, fun during the first few times, then it becomes a chore looking at them. Injustice and Mugen are the worst offenders.
I think it's good for single player matches but online it sours the experience

@maulclaw - These sequences are composed of good mixtures of special arts from SCIV, SCV & SCVI. These techniques from the characters may be recycled in a sort of way; but that could be good.
The techniques would make some sense. If the events of SoulCalibur were to continue on SCVIs timeline, the fighters would develop those arts later in time; that's if Bamco WERE able to release a sequel. Be it the case, the devs should be receiving feedback from gamers much like yourself so they could feed off some ideas.
Storyline AND Special Arts would intertwine if that would make any canonical sense.

Bc even just having the model in the ultimate or there in general would be cool bc all this is, is a texture mod. You don’t have to change the whole moveset just to add in EIN at least in theory with how some mods work

I downloaded vodkalibur but i have no critical edges animation, it still uses the default animation for it. why is that?

Feels like they all have too many combos for a ‘finisher’ but this looks great either way.
These are showing two different mechanics, Violent Edges which are combo extenders and the new Critical Edges.

Maaaaan I wish SCVI wasn't dead nowadays. This mechanic could have been official if Namco didn't abandon the game TWO YEARS after it dropped.
From 2018 to 2020. That's sad af compared to Tekken 7. We know the latter's been going strong since 2015 in arcades.
Ranting aside, this mod looks SICK!
I wish so as well but there are so many people that prefer Tekken over SCVI I just don't think Bandai Namco really thinks they can do much to sway people to play SCVI over Tekken the sales numbers speak for themselves.
I somehow feel that Covid was part of that among other issues whether that be worldwide or internally at Bandai Namco.
@@BatMane95 covid definitely factored. SC6 had an official world tournament tour announced by bamco that got cancelled cuz of covid. Competitive scene was killed before it ever started

Yeah, this is dope but man.... the way the critical edge was done in soulcaliber iv was so much better than vi in my opinion. It's one of the reasons I stopped playing vi.
