This is one of the few DS remakes that could definitely rival its console version. If they ever remake the game I kind of hope they either remake the DS version... or remake the console version adding some of the DS bosses and music

I had the psp version as a kid, the game in ds got more of a re-imagination of the wii and 360 version, while psp tries to remake it. In a gameplay quality point of view the ds is a better version, but i find it amazing how close the psp comes to the other versions

Man, I remember having the Xbox version of this game (which apparently had the best graphics out of all of the ports). I was super into SpongeBob at the time and my parents got me quite a bit of SpongeBob related stuff, including this game when it came out. I didn't end up playing it until I was an older kid because I didn't like challenging games when I was younger. And of course, this being my first SpongeBob game ever, I had no idea the tracks were originally from Battle for Bikini Bottom and the SpongeBob Movie game (with some tracks from the show too). It was only when I tried to look up the soundtrack that I realized pretty much the entire soundtrack is just reused music, which is a shame honestly. Maybe this game had enough time in production, it would've had at least some original tracks. But I will give it this, it was a much better experience than the special it was based on because you can tell despite all it's shortcomings, the team really did care about SpongeBob and actually took the time to reference episodes since it was supposed to be one of those flashback things.
