I need to explain something here, since everybody here said she's underrated. The thing about Malaysian music industry is, you cannot survive just based on your talent. You need material, which is hit song/single. That's what happened to Ernie Zakri previously. People know she's good but because she didn't have her own, original hit song, she failed to capture people's attention, even though they were aware of how talented she was. Our Queen of R&B, Dayang Nurfaizah also experienced the same thing, but she's lucky because she managed to bounce back. All of the singers that you have reacted previously, like Liza Hanim and Indah Ruhaila, they are underrated but people know and aware they are great singers. What's lacking is they don't have the right material. Like Liza, her last popular single I can recall is back in 2004. It's important to have a hit single. In Malaysia, a hit song is your passport. You can't survive just by doing covers or win a talent show. You will be forgotten very quickly because we have so many new, fresh artistes coming out everyday.
