Excellent video Corey, I'd love to do this type of flight sometime but the congested airspace scares me a bit. How did you get in between miami beach and the mainland? I can't figure how to maintain below 1500 (class B) and not be too close to any buildings (1000ft above any in 2000ft radius). Cheers brotha.

The FARs you're stating are for Over Congested Areas. This area has 2 Class Bravo corridors.. 70/15 and 70/10. The area I flew thru was the 70/10 which is a very small corridor leaving very little wiggle room. This small area however is also over water, which means Over Water FARs apply... 500ft separation from any vessel, vehicle, structure, or person, which makes it possible to slip thru for a nice sightseeing flight. Hope I helped you. Happy & safe flying.

@@kingcoreyair I hadn't noticed that on the TAC, the tiny sliver next to land where it says the B is +10/70. Any idea what the plus sign means?
I had interpreted that FAR differently, but I see what you mean about being over water. My thinking was that no matter what was under me I'd maintain 1,000ft separation from buildings.
So basically, as long as I am below 1,000ft and over water inside of that area that is +10/70 I am legal.

@@jg2888 Correct. Also the plus means including 1000ft. So fly no higher than 1000.
