Love how in the video they go straight from taking it out of a hot oven to lifting the lid with bare hands. Don’t try that at home, kids!
I recently purchased and used the black enamel cast iron Staub 9 quart to make roast pork, and this pot is amazing! The food taste so much better, I love it 😍
I just bought my first piece! A 5 quart piece. I am totally in love and looking for my second piece!
The cookware looks great, but I can't afford it and decided to buy the American made Lodge dutch ovens for use in the kitchen, and for camping out. They are great and will last several lifetimes if taken care of.
While Lodge produces most items in the US their Dutch Ovens (and any other enameled iron items) are made in China.
@@perfumistaperfumista943 The items I have is American made and I am proud of it.
@@semco72057 I think you are fine with a Lodge product 💜 If you're ever back in the market for affordable Staub, I suggest you try eBay. Thats where I got mine for half off 🤗💜
Lol Staub is pronounced sh-ta-oo-b not stowb.
After watching several videos from the company and several reps they are pronouncing it "Stobe". I just ordered the 7QT Dutch Oven in Grenadine. So excited!!
@@BlendingWithHenry perhaps the videos you watched were American made? The original pronunciation has a sh at the beggining.
So jealous about your order. You made the best choice from an amazing company. I really don't understand what the hype is with Le Creuset.
@@sithabelamandlawenkosiwodu6298 Perhaps you're right about the videos I've watched as I do not know the origin. It's been kind of confusing as I've heard a few different ways to pronounce it. Haha. Yeah I can't believe the luck I ran into with making this purchase. My local housewares store Sur La Table is closing their store near my home. I went there for closeout deals and their Staub dutch ovens were 20% off the shelf demos with no box. I was checking out the 7QT Round in Grenadine color. Amazing to look at. I just wasn't happy about getting only 20% off an open box for a store closing. It was $389.99 USD minus 20% so that would $311.99 USD. I went on Google Search and found another one of my premium stores I shop at happened to be having a Zwilling sale. All brand new merchandise. They had my 7QT Round Staub Dutch Oven in Grenadine for only $249.99. I thought I misread because all the other colors were on sale for $345.99 it but it was true, so I bought it. I'm so excited! It's my first Staub product. I agree, I can't understand the all the hype with Le Creuset especially when it seems inferior to the Staub in many ways.
The name is German... The company is originally from Alsace (Elsaß)... "sh-ta-oo-b" is pretty close.
