- Hello babes! I'm so sorry this is late but I'm finally done editing this. It's my Valentine's gift to you guys since y'all love the Lumine Wedding we did before. I learned my lesson tho, to plan ahead so any specials from now on, won't be this late. Lmao! Srsly, I'm so happy this is done, I can finally rest XD
Anyway, this is a modern AU. I am very sorry for zhonglumi nation cos Zhongli isn't here, since it's a modern AU, Zhongli would be way older than them, at least in this story/au.
Here are the characters:
LUMINE - Protagonist and younger twin sister of Aether.
DILUC - One of Lumine’s admirers and friends. Owner of a bar Lumine frequents called the Angel’s Share. Occasionally helps his father with business at the Dawn Winery.
AETHER - Lumine’s older twin brother.
CHILDE - One of Lumine’s admirers and friend. Claims to be a fitness instructor but his actual profession is unknown.
KAEYA - One of Lumine’s admirers and friends. A law enforcement officer for the Favonius Police. Also Diluc’s younger adopted brother, they both have a rivalry.
XIAO - One of Lumine’s admirers and friends. A photography major who shares the same Teyvat language course with Lumine.

OH BY THE WAY!! i had a lot of planning and stuff that went into the story, feel free to use this comment to ask me for any behind the scenes stuff of what went into the story here!!! i’ll also update this w/ edits of commonly asked questions in the replies or in the comment section in general. (also sudden typing change, you have been warned)
1. *Where is [character]?*
I originally had Thoma, Albedo, and Zhongli in the plan but they did not make the cut. Albedo ALMOST made it, but Xiao replaced him in the end. Yes, that means Xiao was not going to be in here. But let’s tackle the cut characters one by one.
> *Thoma* is a housekeeper for the Kamisato Resort. His gift for Lumine was a homemade scarf he knitted for her. He was cut to save time and money.
> *Albedo* is a chemistry major, he often borrows the art studio in his spare time. His gift was a painting of Lumine. My personal favorite confession out of the cut characters.
> *Zhongli* is a curator at the local art museum. His gift was a Rex Lapis plush from the souvenir store. Like Thoma, he was cut to save time and money.
Any other character not included in the cut are the ones I haven’t thought of. Plus if I included everyone, this comic would’ve taken twice or thrice as long as it is now.
2. *Isn’t Crepus (Diluc and Kaeya’s dad) dead?*
I decided to throw a bone at the brothers and kept their dad alive. So the only thing that transferred over from canon is their rivalry.
3a. *Will there be an Aether harem version?*
NGL I WOULD MAKE IT IN A HEARTBEAT BUT… you need to commission me lmao. Plus I’m pretty satisfied with how this came out so unless I feel like making an Aether version, there’s a chance I may make it a personal project instead. I forgot to add that Aether harem has a lot and I mean a LOT of girls. If I were to make an Aether harem version, _hoo boy there’ll be more cuts than the people Thanos snapped._
3b. *Will there be a part 2?*
I am very satisfied with how this comic ended out. I’d rather not milk it until it becomes dry so it shall remain as a oneshot special. Part 2 of a comic I scripted will be written ONLY if it fits either of these criterias:
- I feel like it’s incomplete and deserves a part 2
- I like it so much that I want to write a part 2
- It’s been commissioned
This will apply to the other comics I scripted (i.e “A Good Man”, “Chilumi Teapot”).
So this isn't a parody from some anime? This whole scenario just sounded a little too familiar, which one am I thinking of...

@@Trainboy1EJR Not a parody, but it is _inspired_ by a couple reverse harem anime I watched and love. One of them is “Kiss Him, Not Me!” But the main influence is “Hamefura” or “My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!”

Plot twist, Aether is actually a former gang member, one of the top of the Abyss Gang.
He has been a member since junior high all the way to high school, where upon their father's last wishes. Aether quit being a gang. He has used the violence to protect he dears.
His calm and recollective nature is him trying to keep calm and not snap and go out of control like he used to. Since his University debut, unknown to him. He is quite admired by girls, but most of them doesn't know his true nature.
This is beautiful! I can't imagine the work this almost 12 minute one took! Thank you for providing us with this great comic dub!
