Ive got a slipped disk and it's been really rough. The pain was debilitating and I was unable to move around beyond the bathroom and ordering premade food. Big up Steve. Hi there Steve! I just wanted to say that I understand what you're going through... I had my second back surgery in June. My recovery was difficult, isolating, and draining mentally. I know I don't know you personally, but you sound like a really great guy... and you are obviously well loved by everyone here, including me! You got this Steve! Don't give up... It'll all be worth it in the end! ❤
PoP's thoughts on fighting Phil in sf6 are basically the same as my own when I briefly fought him in SF5 around the time Sagat got released [man how time flies, right]. A best of 3 set isn't a ton of time, but enough for you to start adapting and learning your opponent, and eventually overcome them! Really nice take of just 'it helped me get better'.
I don't know if Nursing is the same in the UK like in the US but if a patient just up and vanishes- there's like a panic going on about that here in the US lol. Steve's gonna have to sweet talk the nurses back into good graces lol.

Last stream he also played this Rashid who kept jumping backwards in the corner until DSP did a Blanka ball into him, and got a full jumpHK combo out of it, and DSP launches into babyrage fit about how that guy is just jumping and hoping to get lucky until it works, it's scrubby and dumb. Absurd hypocrisy, since DSP takes so many matches per stream doing exactly that. That's why he doesn't block in the corner also, because he keeps trying to jump in the corner hoping that the opponent whiffs a slow button or a throw and he can land his big dumb jumpHK for an ez confirm into lvl3 and steal the round. But when someone else is doing the exact same thing he always does, it's scrubby and unearned when he wins doing that. It's almost like DSP projects or something constantly, like he does when complaining how everyone's a pattern player, when I swear I've watched the exact same sequence out of him for 100+ rounds of gameplay.
I love how unhinged Phil’s rollback rants are because if the connections he’s getting are actually that bad, the no contest prompt would come up on on the bottom of the screen to end the match if both players agreed.
The thing that's "predicted" in roll back netcode is your move on the opponents screen if there happens to be lag. If the prediction is right they don't see the lag, and if it's wrong it's quickly corrected showing a few frames of roll back which looks like ur character kinda skipping into the right position. Dsp acts like if the predictions are wrong he just gets the wrong move or it drops his input, but your input always happens, your opponent just might see the wrong move first for a couple of frames before it's corrected. I do find it hard to believe he doesn't understand this because it's really not that complicated, but like pieceofpeac said it can be hard to tell if Dsp's lying or just stupid. He's definitely stupid, but in this case I think he's just lying to confuse the dents and make himself look better.
That contrast when PoP was asked when he fought Phil, he just didn't remember like Phil does, shouting and complaining about it even after it ended. Big ups PoP!
One of my favorite excuses was when he was re-playing Dark Souls 2 and had the Smelter Demon/Havel unkillable tank build and he was getting shut down by squishy dex builds from some invaders who managed to have better poise and health then he did. Truly magical🫠
