Shamanic is an absolute powerhouse of a card, I've seen and used it to win many a casual commander game. It will close out a game with the card advantage it provides and the life gain gets substantial quickly. I makes the 99 of almost every green deck I make. Easy 7.8
Yeah, no, hard disagree with the Standard Brain takes on Commander cost and toughness. You're rating for Casual Commander, and ignoring that you cannot reliably have that kill spell to burn on just anything. You've gotta shake off a bit of that kneejerk "Dies to Bolt" stuff.
u might be right about 4 mana commanders being expensive, and commanders that die to bolt are bad.. in Competitive commander, but u always say these ratings are for CASUAL commander, and in that case, a card dying to bolt doesn't matter, and a 4 mana commander is cheap lol.
