En ole seurannut euroviisuja vuosiin koska "metallimiehelle" se on yleensä ollut joutavaa tyhjänlaulamista ja poseeraamista. Nyt kun aloin tylsistyneenä käymään UMK:n kappaleita läpi jostain syystä, niin kuuntelin tämän viimeisenä. Ja helvetti. Jäin koukkuun. Sanat iski suoraan päin näköä henkilökohtaisella tasolla, lauluääni erikoisen uskomaton ja jopa kappale itsessään musiikillisesti jäi korvamatona päähän. Kiitos.

I am tearing too, first of all because this song is so touching, secondly because I am from Finland but have heard of this young artist only once before and thirdly because UMK is allowing new artists this platform to share there talent. I am so proud of the selection of UMK this year and whoever chose the songs is a genius.
When I first heard the title I was like omg that really sounds like something I would say. This song just blew my mind. All the philosophic thoughts, the vocals, the melody, everything... I'm a Finn and an atheist and this is the song I'm gonna be voting for in UMK 100%

Olivera is rather unknown to the big public in Finland. She told she is nervous releasing this song, it feels so private to her. It's crazy how the song has effected people, many are touched, some see there a suicide note, some religious people are just upset. Whatever happens next, kudos the UMK for choosing this gem to the competition.
And I really get why would she be nervous about releasing this song… Its so personal and thats why it strikes the chord with me so much probably… Im so happy this is in the selection this year. Even if she doesnt win UMK, she won me

It's such a bold song. Such brave and direct lyrics with clear thoughts about something many could relate, and which was almost never even said out loud, and here it is a song. IT is shockingly honest and gives "YES! FINALLY!". I like Finnish rock songs, but this is something else.
I like all Finnish rock songs, they are fun, entertaining. But I am dying to see this in the eurovision finals just so this will get audience. It calls to have it. I am dreaming to see this win. It is more than a song.
I'm afraid this is a song that would be very underrated in the ESC.

I cried too. Never ever could imagine to do so, didn't expect this deep, meaningful, soulful masterpiece to came to me. She is an artist, I've not heard of her before UMK. I'm a Finn who loves rock and here am I: admiring a soft, peaceful song. She's my no1. I*m eagerly waiting for the lives.

Loved your reaction! ❤️ This was my first experience with Olivera even though I’m a Finn. (But then again I listen to mostly rock, so no wonder, I haven’t come across this gem before.) Usually I pay attention to the melody and the rythm in a song, and the lyrics are secondary. But oh my, the lyrics of this song are absolutely beautiful! I wouldn’t mind at all if Olivera represented us in ESC this year.
Exactly what I would have said. Never heard her before (more for metal) but this one was something beyond beautiful. Her presence was magical - hope they are having a lot of close-up of her eyes and face in the live show. The lyrics were the biggest surprise for me: poetical, philosophical.
So far the best ESC react 2022 - just fell in love with you two. I had the same reaction for this amazing piece of art, goosebumps, tears and mixed emotions. I can say that I'm truly proud of being a Finn and I hope that Katriina will represent us in Turin ❤

This track is a real masterpice, no way to disagree. As already mentioned here by other Olivera is no widely known in Finland before UMK. She is having more positive type of pop songs and one good example is one of my long time favorites: ruclips.net/video/FDuDYrJcRDQ/видео.html

I have never heard from her and I am from Finland. I am speechless. Where have she hide from us? Its risky to send this. Hope she wins UMK. Why this i risky? Because of the songs name. For me this year is Extremly good. Even the other songs i dont like UMK this year are so good! In many years Finland has been out of the grand final. Now we have found how to do this. I am so proud.
I am from Finland, and I wasn't expecting her either. I cried when I heard the song for the first time. It is beautiful. Simply the best.

I think this could go very well for all that know interpretation of religious texts are made by mortal imperfect people. Blindly religious people will go and hear "I'm atheist" and go on a rampade. Unfortunately. But this is beautiful.

Sorry guys, but this is not going to win UMK. Oliveira would be nice, but we choose almost every year wrong as you surely know. The Rasmus will win and it is fine for me.
Oh boy you are so right. We do that every year exept last year and 2006. It's so frustrating. Rasmus can do well because they have a huge fan base but.. There are way better songs in UMK this year. Maybe Tommi Läntinen will surprise us 🤔😂.

I wouldn't mind Olivera winning, but I'd still prefer Cyan Kicks or The Rasmus. As long as the winner is not BESS or Younghearted or Tommi Läntinen (or Isaac Sene, probably) everything's fine.

Although Olivera isn't my first choice, I would absolutely be happy to send this one to the ESC. My other favourites are Younghearted, Cyan Kicks and The Rasmus. Tbh, I like the last three, too. What is wrong with the Finnish selection - why couldn't you at least have some bad songs? 😁

The problem would be that Finland wouldn't get many of the points because there so many super religious countries that would NOT vote for this
Not so sure, specially when it comes to televotes. I think the situation would be a bit same than with Hard Rock Hallelujah of Lordi and Dark Side of Blind Channel.
I think the idea ís that do not believe i religious propaganda(which tends to suffocate people), christian or otherwise, but in yourself and general ethics based on philosopfy etc

I can't help it, but for me the lyrics sound really shallow for some reason. They don’t really have anything insightful in them. I don't like the song.
