A very big thank you for posting this wonderful opera. I wish this performance was available on DVD or BluRay. This is an opera rich in drama and beauty. I am grateful I have been able to enjoy this unjustly neglected opera.
Man, doesn't she look great when she lets her hair down, and takes most of the makeup off and emphasizes her expressive eyes. Beautiful, dramatic. Same kind of feel I get from her Salome.
Great production, I would prefer more historic costumes though. The costumes are like a Bollywood film- not my taste. Great as a whole though. Well done.

This opera needs more love. Sure, the music is a bit all over the place, but in a good performance like this it can be very strong.

A pity Menotti didn't devise the libretto from the start.
