I don't have this gpu. But I got to say, if I had those frame rates , including those 12-24fps average, like 10-15yrs ago when I was just broke student, it's playable in my book. I could now afford and rocking a pretty decent system. But I swear, when I saw the spiderman and cyberpunk test, I can definitely play that and still enjoy it lol

In 2010-2012 I still used an Atom N270 netbook with an Intel GMA 950 and a Pentium 4 HT 3.0GHz desktop with an Intel Extreme Graphics 2 to play games, most of the time below 30fps. The Pentium 4 system could have ran the games pretty if only it had a dGPU, but the system only had PCI so it wouldn't have been easy to find a graphics card for it. Using it with a 1080p monitor didn't help either.
I did also have another 478 system which did have an AGP slot but only a Celeron 1.8GHz and Radeon 7000.

when I was in high school, and some t in college, I was using a hand me down dell inspiron laptop that has no business gaming. During college, I scraped up to build an AMD A10 5800k APU system. Yes, could have imagine APU would evolve into this, this early. I think we can also give credit to handheld pcs. Back then, only the online mmorpg games actually target the lowest common denominator. While AAA titles, may not have a high pc requirements in general, developers will mostly target a dedicated gpu and at least mid range cpu. It's actually only now and in the last few years that almost all game developers is trying to optimized their games to ran on an APU(to which by default is part of the lowest in specs or performance wised).
I'm also very much self-aware that the sole reason why I'm using 4080 is not because I love high graphics and I can't stand playing at a lower resolution and settings. It's just the fact that when I was younger I dreamed of playing on the best hardware and I can actually afford it now, so I did.

During the GPU shortage I needed a semi-modern Nvidia GPU to mess around with NVENC (at the time I only had access to an RX 5700 and R7 260X), so I bought a Quadro P400 on eBay. It did what I needed on the video encoding side, but I was surprised to find that it underperformed the iGPU in an R5 2400G in most areas.
I found that the Vega 11 graphics outperformed the P400 by ~30-50% on average... and the 2400G was handicapped with 2400MT/s RAM!!

Kepler’s just a bit too long in the tooth. The fastest Kepler cards are still slower than the GTX 1060, and they are really lacking in efficiency and supported features. It was a solid architecture when it came out beating GCN in efficiency and even undercutting GCN on price for many models, but it no longer can stand the test of time. RIP Kepler.

There were rumours that the original Titan was supposed to be a GTX 680, because there's no GK100 chip. Even some are doubting that the Titan/780 Ti is a GK110, it's more like a GK112.
The reason: AMD released their HD 7000 series first, and would look extremely bad if Nvidia went ahead with their GK102 or GK100 chip for the same price.

They should have kept them all in, if you're curious which version last had FSR 1, it was version 1.6.

In this regard, I think the naming schemes of workstation, server GPUs are so messy it gets confusing. Why not NV copy AMD’s way of naming workstation and server products? I mean RTX workstation should be called GeForce Pro S, eg., GeForce Pro S4090, with S stands for Studio. For Server products focusing on remote cloud compute, cloud gaming, and cloud workstation, call it GeForce Pro C, eg., GeForce Pro C4080, with C stands for Cloud with the same spec as desktop workstation. For laptops, call it GeForce M and GeForce Pro M (mobile laptop) ending, eg., GeForce RTX 5080M Ti, GeForce Pro S5070M, GeForce RTX 5080Q (thin and light, Max-Q). The server for FP64 and AI, call it new lineup of Tensor accelerators, starting with letter T. Formerly H100, the successor should be called T100, T250Z (zwei = dual chip MCM). For CPU, call it Tegra for consumer and workstation and Zonda for servers.

I was able to hack/unlock the vBIOS on my old ass Dell Precision M6700 with a Quadro K4000M 4GB, and with a +250 core & +300 mem OC (that SOMEHOW runs completely stable without thermal throttling) it performs very close to a GTX 675MX. Still nothing special, but hey it’s better than stock at least. Handles older PS3/360 era titles at 1080p like a champ, but anything newer than 2015 calls for 720p/900p mixed settings to hold a playable frame rate. It’s got an i7-3720QM & 16GB 1600Mhz DDR3 to work with as well, so for a 10 year old “laptop”, it’s certainly not as bad as it could be. And it manages to handle my son’s Roblox & Minecraft shenanigans just fine, although a modern smartphone can play those just as good so still nothing to write home about. At the very least it’s still a decent machine to run older console emulators and PC exclusive programs on 😅
