During the GPU shortage I needed a semi-modern Nvidia GPU to mess around with NVENC (at the time I only had access to an RX 5700 and R7 260X), so I bought a Quadro P400 on eBay. It did what I needed on the video encoding side, but I was surprised to find that it underperformed the iGPU in an R5 2400G in most areas. I found that the Vega 11 graphics outperformed the P400 by ~30-50% on average... and the 2400G was handicapped with 2400MT/s RAM!!

One thing as a person who uses a quadro to game dont let it get hot the games will intentionally crash or run extremely slow use msi after burner to manually adjust the fan until you keep it in the 70 degree range I learned it the hardware games would be running at 60 or higher fps at ultra 4k then all of sudden 20fps
Don't tell anyone, but back in the day, shady devs studios would buy consumer cards and flash them to appear as quadros so they would work with legitimate (cough cough) versions of 3dsmax etc ;)
Not really the m4000 can be clocked to 1304 on the core with the right cooler on it. The Kepler based k4000 hits it's limits around 1100..that and the memory clock is significantly less. I own both and the 3gb limit with only dx11 really kill any potential it might have had here in 2023
