OMG that was soooo useful. I just bought it and am waiting for the delivery. I thought I would have to donate my laundry powder but you answered my question. Hi Mr Washy Washy, do you happen to know if i can use gel detergent? Its slightly thicker than the fabric softener and wasn't sure if it would clog it up? The gel is called 'Bold 2 in 1 Gel'

On official samsung website says to use HE( high efficiency) detergent. There is no HE label on detergent in europe.So my question is: what detergent to use in europe?

So I noticed that my detergent and softener liquids are in the same level in the dispenser box after many many loads, also the clothes are not smelling the detergent after a wash or softener smell. I feel like the washer doesn’t pull the liquid doze per washes. Do I need to set on the very right button (hand) every time on (low, med,high) doze per wash? I’m absolutely confused 🤦♀️

Hi thanks mate. Had a look and I can see your model is the one without auto dispense. It cannot be added on later as you need a whole lot of parts, slightly different motherboards.

I have an older model can you mix and add powder as well to the automatic dosing? I see the powder is all taken after each wash but not sure it is used? The clothes doesn’t smell like it is used?

Did you find a HE detergent. I'm also using normal detergent and not seeing bubbles. Notice its been 11months, hopefully you did. To answer your question for softener, I set to high or hard for more to be used at a time

Hi welcome. You only have to turn it off once and it will automatically know you have turned off auto dispense

Hi! Thanks for video. I have one question though. It seems there is no option to control auto-dosing for detergent and softener separately. If I use a different detergent for whites then I would use manual detergent drawer which requires to switch off auto-dosing. But it means I am switching off also softener auto-dosing? How would I use manual detergent drawer while still getting auto-dosimf softener?

Thanks glad you got some value from it. Cloudy day way is a low temperature high spin speed wash. It takes most of the water out of the clothes so they won’t take too long to dry without the sun on a cloudy day

We just bought the WD85T654DBH models its a 8.5kg / 6kg..washer and dryer combo...can the number of hours per washing category be changed?
There are quicker wash cycles on there. I think you would have to customise the cycle. Reduce the temperature and spin speed
just got a 10.5kg Samsung washer with auto dose funtion, when i fill it up with softener and detergent and both set in the menu for "medium" both compartments are full, but the washer says that the softener is low, when its full?
Hi I think it takes a bit of time for it to register that there is something in there. Also did you fill it up to the max level ?

I guess you would have to time it for putting it in after the washer has done it’s rinse cycle

hi there. Sorry I don't have access to electrolux washers at the moment. Generally there is a hand wash option on most washers

Hi the pre wash will go in the powder drawer. You will have to insert the soap after as well

Hi Auto does on function will use the coloured liquid. Whenever you tune auto dose it will override and always use the liquid

these don't use as much water. it does'nt take as much powder as well thus less bubbles

@AlFrosty Make sure you get the dose right for your fully-automatic washing machine, generally: A front load fully-automatic washing machine needs 60 ml of liquid. A top load fully-automatic washing machines need 80 ml of liquid.

Hi you can put it in the manual soap powder compartment. It’s next to the auto dose ones

Autodose drawer you clean it yourself by pulling the whole drawer out. Prewash you put it in the manual detergent compartment

Once you set the auto dose do you need to reset each wash or does it do this automatically until you decide to change it or switch off auto dose .
You don’t need to reset it every cycle you can later change it

Do the calibration mode. It is good for weight detection as there is a sensor in the washing machine which detects whether the load in the drum is too heavy or underloaded.

@capricornangel7957 The drum has to be empty when you do the calibration mode. Check also the user's guide to know how much load you are allowed to put in the drum for the program you are about to choose. For a family of 5 you can use either cotton wash or mixed load. For mixed load 4 or 5 kgs depending on the model that you have as it varies. For cotton you can put max load but you have to segregate heavy items from the light items.

Hi Kerri Congrats on the purchase . So if you want it to smell strongly after a wash use the 1* option because 2 and 3 level will decrease the amount of softener dispensed. So the higher you go the lower the amount of softner. Try that out and let me know how it goes
@@askmrwashywashy I have it on X1 as I did read in the book that is dilutes the softener so it doesn't smell as strong. I use fairy gel and softener, it was always strong with my previous machine. I have tried multiple different washes and found my last small load didn't wash the clothes fully so my daughter's clothes didn't smell thoroughly clean. Thank you for your reply, your the biggest help I've had so far.

I have a problem where suddenly my machine stopped auto dispensing the detergent.
It does not seem clogged but the detergent level doesn’t go down when I keep doing the wash.

When I wash shirts only about 25, it's always unbalanced,
When I wash 30 shirts, the washer is always unbalanced, when I wash towels there are unbalanced, washer good at washing, shit at spinning

I think something that is easy flowing. Hard to gauge without buying and trying out the detergent. So I guess it will be a case of experimenting to see what works best for you.
What is the capacity of the autodose detergent tray in mL and what capacity is the softener in mL, there is a setting in smarthings to tell how much in mL for detergent and softener, so the washer can work out how many wash/rinse cycle you can have
What do I use for wool wash?
Wool wash doesn't use auto dose if that's what you're asking. Same as delicate. You'll add your own detergent manually.
And how much in mililiters is Low, and how much is high?

So the steps for auto soap/liquid dispense are 1)tap the hand 2) select wash/rinse on low/med/high dose 3) tap O for auto dispense? Or the number 3you don’t need to tap it, cause it says when you tap it add manually. Please someone answer me who knows, cause I tried all the ways n the cloths are not smelling the soap n softener at all no matter what.

what to do if it not drain softener? Even when is container full and on display shows "refill"?
try and take the drawer out and clean it. If you press the tab in the middle you can pull out the soap drawer and clean it out. Instructions will be in the usermanual. If problem persists after then contacrt samsung might be faulty sensor
