what we never rarely hear people talk about in this new sport compared to boxing is what kind of injurys are the training and years of jujitsu, wrestling, mui thai and MMA in general gives. Both long term and short term. We see a small procentish reach UFC but the other thousends who never makes it. Every sport have injurys but I never seen anyone spoke about it in mma?

I train and spar many times per week, and follow MMA news closely. I have been also following Winged C arc and his wins at Karate Combat and it would be amazing to take that step too. Any tips? People don’t watch the whole card cuz they gotta sit for 6 hours that’s a long commitment for a Saturday if u watch the prelims 2. I watch the whole 6 hours but ima huge fight fan most are casual viewers
They have certain plans for everyone. Of course the fighters know it but they aren’t there to entertain they’re there to prove that they are the best and get paid the most. The ufc is only there to entertain. Put on s show. They have visions for everyone there unless they’re irrelevant and end up getting cut. Mvp is a great fighter the ufc knows it. But he’s not championship caliber material atm and he’s been fighting awhile. But he is exciting none can doubt it. So they’re going to use him to do what they do best which is entertain. Because the guy is very entertaining. So that might be frustrating to some or him in particular, but unless he doesn’t lose anymore fights at all it’s going to be tough to get that top 3 fight or fight for the belt.

It kinda seems to me that UFC is trying to phase out their older roster and finish up their contracts to move onto pushing the younger guys. Paddy v Justin was a good example, no way was Paddy deserving of that but he is young and will be around for a while, so why not push him from a business standpoint. Also the UFC can pay the lesser known fighters and unknowns a whole lot less than established older guys, other than Heavyweight obviously where as long as you can breathe you can get a title shot.
