@@BeboTheRedneckPimp I’m looking into getting all of this but I claimed too much stuff on my va disability in the past so getting medical would be hard, so seeing if anyone runs the under 55pound swarm together
Help me out guys. Newbee here thinking about getting into the business. Who's doing the math on how much fungicide to put in the mix tank? What license do you need from your perspective. Trying not to make a mole hill a mountain. Thanks
Agree. Too high and speed off. Unless they are using GPS, I don't see how coverage is consistent. Small fields, yes. Large open - no. Fungicide and insecticide maybe.....they need some serious protective equipment too!
We farm some of the steepest farmland in America at my farm. The neighbors farm the steepest. It would be hard to keep eyes on these things from the road. Impossible even.
You can use two of those remote-controllers with one pilot stationed at the top of the hill so that you can legally pass-control of the drone to the VLOS pilot.
they been flying to high and too fast, recomend is 11.4 ft and a velocity of 5 m/s and may be a short pass between lines may be a 26 or 27 ft depends of what you are applying! regarts
one day - 4 guys - 500 acres? How efficient is that? MY high clearance sprayer could do 1500 acres in a good day - ONE people. You got a ways to go to convince me. Specialty fields - complex areas - spot spraying - maybe
This drone crap will last as long as electric cars and trucks do. Yes they have a place but not in high production ag. Hell, I don’t Even fly that high in my 802.
This could work very well for row crop farmers. Especially for disease proned vegetables. Spraying from ground allot of times causes the disease to spread. Only problem I see is not being able to put down enough liguid per acre.
That's an awful spot to setup 3:33 a double yellow no-passing section of road, you're going to create new rules as I imagine they'll ban that after the first few car accidents. You should make it your company policy to only use pieces of road that have legal-passing, I agree that spot is open but the double-lines have legal-standing if you accidentally get into a car-accident.
Drone spraying will be just like ev market . While it does have itsPlace ex , in vineyards , supremely rough terrain, small vegetable crops! It will absolutely never overtake 800 gal airplanes and ground rigs with over 100 ft boom
You lost me at "farmers around here never sprayed corn, don't know about it." Are you kidding me? No one is going to give you a cut of their chemical supply companies.
I have a t40. Just bought it a few weeks ago. Taking tons of tests to be ready to spray next season in Southern Illinois. They are so cool!!
Did you go do the FAA medical stuff yet
@@JimboYT2 it's next on my list.

@@BeboTheRedneckPimp so stupid you have to have medical cert to fly a drone when the medical is for planes
My t40 just crashed into a tree line while on auto, be careful
Good stuff guy enjoyed your video, viewing from Australia
Great operation and logistics, greetings from Ecuador!
Could you give us a tutorial on how to run them, filling and mapping out the field?
The video starts at 2:43. Save yourself the 3 minutes of yakking in the intro
Good day! I'm wondering how many gallons per hour is the consumption for a single generator you use. Hope you cover up. Thank you
DJI drones are the global standard. Best price best quality
Y’all were in my town! Wish I could caught up with ya
Nice 👍
awesome work guys
Thanks a lot!

How does one get into this. I’m from Northern Indiana and I’m very interested in doing something like this.
Smart young man right there
🙂 thanks
Do you guys use multi spectral imagery for variable rate application? I’m in New Mexico, nothing like that here so I’m super interested!
In our area, multi spectral hasn’t been used much but it is a sweet bit of technology. That can definitely be utilized.
Very cool
👍
What are the water rates and what are the water rates compared to helicopters?
Hello how much do you charge to do this do you charge hourly rate or per literage or gallons
thanks scott
From Australia
Around $15 USD/acre
I see they have StarLink internet service antenna on the top of the white truck.
Required by law in indiana dont you need a pilot and spotter per drone?

Seems to me time is critical. Having backup everything would be more cost effective I would guess!
How much did you charge per acre?
Hello how many acres can you do with one drone
in one day
Hey bro, im in Canada and looking to start spraying business, any thoughts?

I was thinking the other day that drones would be perfect for food plot spraying and seeding…
Yeah they work great
I'd like to see that math, the lbs per acre to get that 20% vs the price of degraded lithium.
PPE?

Are u spraying 500 acres a day with the 2 drones?
Depends what the running is like

300 acres in 3 minutes? Not a chance!
It’s prolly not just with one drone.
Lol 3 minutes, not even a professional crop duster can do that at 160 mph 😁
@@OrangeOutdoors lol look up the specs. They spray 40 acre/hr at 2 gal/acre.
@@jonnymiller3231 that’s one drone
@@OrangeOutdoors no kidding. If they had 8 drones on that 300 acres at the same time, it would still take an hour!
Both republican and democrats in Congress need to see this and not ban DJI in the USA.
How much money are you guys making a year doing that?
I live in west tn, would like to find out how to get started in this business.

I guarantee them farmers are spraying that corn and have been for 30 years, maybe not with a drone.
😶
4 people for 50 acres per hour?
That was back when we were still trying to get dialed in 👍
i think you fly to high.. just that.. other than that.. it is a great applicatin
Why you guys don’t have any protection like mask??
What a screwed up pattern
