Mark Ingram has been one of the best players and ambassadors for the Alabama program in the Saban era. I've seen him on the sidelines at so many Alabama playoff games over the last several years. Guys like Mark and Julio Jones from the 2008 recruiting class set the bar and established the Alabama culture for the young men who have followed them.
@@tommylynn3546 Really now??,, Guess your ignorant azz missed the fact that he won a Natty at LSU before coming to BAMA.. Mark Ingram is awesome. I'm glad he chose BAMA instead of a Michigan school, thank you Mark, you're already going down in history as our first Heisman winner RTR
You can clearly tell how much Saban cares about his current and especially former players. He keeps track of all of them and loves seeing them succeed in life regardless of what they do! You love to see it! ROLL TIDE BABY!
Wow! was I surprised? The best interview of Coach Saban I've seen. Where there is a balance of insight, humor and spontaneity, such interviews are always more entertaining. Mark Ingram was particularly articulate and relaxed--or good at being "himself". That all participants had an enjoyable time, so did I.
Hi I am a finance business person… I am alumni of the University of Alabama in 1974 and that’s a bad bear Bryant have similar ways of thinking… I apply all the wisdom that they speak, take notes, and use it in my business .. amazing!
I have such a love-hate relationship with coach Saban!!!! Being an LSU fan and seeing him leave for the NFL only to go to Bama makes me hate him so much. Knowing that he didn't take Drew eases the pain some. His personality is so dry and so fun and is what makes him such an amazing coach. Doing interviews like this is what makes you love him when you still want to hate him. Congrats coach and keep up the great work.
I remember Mark Ingram in the ice water tub at BAMA they showed it on something ESPN I forgot but I remember that, he talked about crazy training in this interview
@@jakebuchsbaum33481992, 2016 and 2017 were the best defenses Bama has ever had. IMO the ‘17 defense was better than ‘16 cause the DBs were a year older/Anthony Averrett/Levi Wallace more than made up for losing Marlon Humphries. They were lock down. We never gave up more than 26 points in ‘17. We played 3 teams ranked in the top 3 at some point during the season. #3 Florida St scored 7, 1 seed Clemson scored 7 and UGA scored 23. Rtr!
He said they weren't very good during his first season. That's kind of true, but they showed flashes of greatness throughout the season with wins over Arkansas and Tennessee. They also had close losses to LSU and Georgia.
@@jakebuchsbaum3348was a great true nose tackle. Jesse Williams was great as well but the best overall was Daron Payne and Quinnen Williams in my opinion.

Nobody would be able to understand what he says. I have to get a Cajun to translate for me and I think he makes it up. Coach o days 4 words and he translates it to 15 or 20 words.
His idea of not having to coach players differently in the NFL vs college is why he was below average in the league and left to go back to college. Every single player in the NFL will say that’s the reason the good college coaches always fail when they make the jump to the league because they’re trying to coach grown ass men collecting huge checks the same way as they coach kids who are trying to make it to that next level. Shows the size of his ego for him to say some shit like that after seeing with his own eyes you can’t coach NFL guys like college kids, leaving the nfl because he couldn’t hack it, but he’ll just blame it on the team and organization 😂 clown
So what if he isn't that's not going to change anything lol. Players don't care if he is okay with that they are there for his coaching ability not if he cares or don't about here dating a blk man.dumb

Yes sir. So many former Bama players on the sidelines during the NC games. Was particularly happy seeing Jalen Hurts showing back up.
This one’s legendary fr can’t believe u got HIM on the podcast of all people.
He do anything for his players
Swear I was thinking the same. I have a feeling this is gonna be funny
Saban loves Mark.
Nick Saban is a legend whether you’re a Bama fan or not…
I have been a Bama fan since 1973 and I think Saban has no class, Dees jokes is the biggest indicator and how he treats reporters is classless,
The truth is that this man probably wouldn't have won another championship without being at Alabama.

One of the best college football defenses of all time but I think the 2016 one was better

I’d have to imagine Quinnen Williams is in that convo for best bama d line.
I'd put Quinnen's last year at Alabama as the single best season for a D lineman in the Saban era, Jonathan Allen for the best career.
