As a Turkish who grew up in early 2000s Eurovision was such a joy for me. Felt like you got to be part of whole world, at that time we got to vote with SMS for other countries, and there was a point system occasionally used politically and everyone would give the biggest point (12) to their dearest neighbouring country. Yet the other points would determine the real winner anyways. And it was such a blast to experience this unity in diversity. Unfortunately Turkey has left Eurovision in 2012 due to political sides and so-called inequality in voting system. We hope to come back in 2024, until then ❤🎉
I hope Turkey will join Eurovision again in the future. Imo Turkey had amazing entries with great variety. One of my absolute favourite Eurovision songs is Deli in 2008! Love from Finland! 🇫🇮

To add to why Australia is in eurovision, it's because there was a big influx of Greek (and other Europeans) migrants during the 50s. adding to the australia comment; it always just made sense to me since we are so heavily influenced by british culture and colonisation. not to mention we're part of the commonwealth anyway. not glorifying it or saying it's a good thing, but for a long time we were seen as an extension of britain. australia nowadays has become such a multicultural country that it just makes sense that we'd want to celebrate that in eurovision too.
First of all, I'm happy America isn't a part of this. Most of mainstream media and films and all this IS American, and it's nice to have our own, European thing celebrating our continent and cultures. Second, why do I feel like most of, if not all, the comments in this video comes from Americans? If you were born and raised here, you'd understand the significance and joy of this music festival, celebrating ourselves and each other

I mean, we may differ in our belief in the existence of a god, but as long as we're on the same page regarding not hating people based on who they love, we can hang out anytime. Just saying. Big TLOU fan :)
I noticed Americanization in many of the Eurovision contestants, they don't represent their own culture enough.
Sad
adding to the australia comment; it always just made sense to me since we are so heavily influenced by british culture and colonisation. not to mention we're part of the commonwealth anyway. not glorifying it or saying it's a good thing, but for a long time we were seen as an extension of britain. australia nowadays has become such a multicultural country that it just makes sense that we'd want to celebrate that in eurovision too.
I would prefer having learnt something, but it's just social media clash.
Bella is so funny and cute I just can’t 😂
Lady Mormont 🧡
First of all, I'm happy America isn't a part of this. Most of mainstream media and films and all this IS American, and it's nice to have our own, European thing celebrating our continent and cultures.
Second, why do I feel like most of, if not all, the comments in this video comes from Americans? If you were born and raised here, you'd understand the significance and joy of this music festival, celebrating ourselves and each other
I just love Bella, their voice is so pleasant to listen to
Fr tho
Suddenly I’m a huge Eurovision fan
No one dares to disagree with the Lady of Bear Island.
“why you preferred Finland to Sweden..” ……not this year ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
Bella curando minha depressão diária com esse vídeo❤❤
"maybe not scootch" cracked me up! 😂
I’m an American and I am a super fan of Eurovision I host a watch party every year!!!!!!!
Sometimes it gets too political like the time when 1944 won, it the times when Turkey got like 300 points from the viewers because half of the Turkish people live across Europe. 😢
As a Norwegian I can proudly say every day I prefer Finland to Sweden. Why limit it to just one evening?
For anyone wondering - I think UK often didn't get far at all (UK in 2021 is a good example, oof) because of Brexit. It set a bad rep for UK for a long time, and only in 2022 did Sam Ryder break that curse.
Brexit is only last few years while British songs did poorly for years before. It's not because of Brexit but might be related to the snobbish attitude that lead to Brexit in the first place.
@@KasumiRINA Yeah, it definitely didn’t help, that’s for sure. Which is a shame, ‘cause 2021’s person was awesome, and he wasn’t even salty about getting like zero points.
@@KasumiRINA I was surprised to find out that the UK finished 2nd 16 times! More than any other country. I totally didn't expect that as I also thought they always finish last
12 points to Bella 👏✌️🥳❤️
but none of those comments were wrong
The BBC saying other countries had better songs 😅 Yeah whose fault was that.
Can't answer the last question because it's true. 😆
She slay like a boss 🫡
It is so weird for me hearing Hilda's voice coming from a real person who doesn't have blue hair lol
Bella ramsey explaining what eurovision is amazing wasnt onmy bingo card.
for a moment i tho she has to be talking about other thing called eurovision LMAO
i cant wait for eurovision!
This is absolutely savage, hilarious and brilliant!
people who don't like eurovision are missing out on so much joy and fun
this is why we love British actors
Asking a Brit about Eurovision 😅 If they knew what they were doing, they WOULD send Adele! / Sincerely, Sweden.
As a bitter finnish person I love that she mentioned Finland. Käärijä should have won
The Adele comment killed me 😂
Bella you are épic, this is the statement that the world needs to know!!! Well done darling!!!❤
Yes I'm indeed telling them why Finland should've won... Maybe next year they should just send Lordi and take the easy win too
