- As you all know, I have an undying love for all things fashion- I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend one of the most anticipated events of the year, New York Fashion Week! I was so lucky to have witnessed all the designers’ amazing creations in the flesh! The trip may have been short and sweet, but I made so many new memories to last me a lifetime! Enjoy, loves! 🗽❤

Naught Guile While some brands admittedly do that, please think about the artisans who are doing their jobs due to their genuine enjoyment. Stop plastering negative ideas of capitalism, we should celebrate the artisans and people behind the fabric.
Naught Guile It’s attempting optimism, nor escaping realism. There’s also a difference. I acknowledged your argument because it is factual, I am merely pointing out that the fashion industry is as black and white as you paint it out. It sucks, but fashion brands and fast fashion often skimp out on quality these days, but those who take time and invest in quality resources should not be ignored. Brands such as Hermès and Chanel are top tier in terms of the quality of their pieces and should be regarded with respect as such. Not everything as clear-cut as your Stevens makes it seem to be, and I’m just pointing it out.

@Naught Guile I am 8 months late reading your comment but could not resist. Actually, not just designer items, even consumer goods which we buy at supermarkets are sold at a premium. The mark ups are scandalous considering they are everyday consumer items - soap, shampoo, toothpaste. No wonder you always see sale - buy 1 take 1, 70%++ markdowns. Imagine how much the original product cost is. This has been the practice for ages. And that is the truth.

Really love the fact that she shares this to us, I've been all over fashion lately and she is one of the reasons why. She could just attend the shows coz it would be easier without the vlogging stuff but she chose to share this to us. Thank you so much!
