After coming together in 2003, simply dancing in each others garages, they would eventually master their craft & find their style. Their signature piece being the infamous white mask. Just 5 years later in 2008, the crew would get the chance to take part in MTV's new hit show America's Best Dance Crew. Where their lives would change forever...

Outside of Super Cr3w and Quest, every other champion completely fell off the map in the dance community. Last time we heard about them was when they all came back to compete in the last season of ABDC.
I agree with this creator, this group is truly Iconic in today's era of dance. I saw their show in Vegas and it was amazing.
They aren’t dancers , they are entertainers. I watched them on the very first show. I knew they would win . Nobody even came close
I feel like only the Jabba crew would be the only one to actually hold a Vegas headline. Just due to their imagination and dance style it allows them to really reflect and move with the music thus allowing them to literally create any story. With other crews, its very limited just due to their style. The masks really help take away the individualism and allows them to express the music and narrative how they see fit.
First saw them while flipping past the channel in 2008. I think it was the second episode of ABDC. Was blown away. Lots of good crews, but Jabba has a different vibe and a 'mystique' sure, alot of that is probably the mask, but they also stick to tight choreography vice flying and flipping like other crews. Im a 55 years old male, retired military with two daughters in college, so Im probagly not what you'd say is their typical audience either. But you know, everyone should be able to recognize talent, energy and focus regardless. Ive been following them ever since.

There’s dancers out there that all over technicalities and it’s a hard miss if you look for that in the Jabbaz. They have an unmatched signature style for a reason. There’s “better” dancers, but you can’t duplicate them. Kinjaz fans will beg to differ, but I’m sorry...the Jabba swag is unfukwitable.

Jabbawockeez is so cool! When I'm start dancing, the jabbawockeez inspired me to Dance, improve and continue to achieve my dream to inspired other people with my talents, I know it's so hard but I'm trying my best. I dance with mask sometimes, I'm number one fans here in the Philippines!!!

additional facts:
-Before 2003 the group´s name was the 3 muskets and had 3 members (KB, SB and Punkee)
-Jabbawockeez has performed in NBA Finals of 2016, 2017 & 2019 pushing their fame to the sky
-Phil Tayag (SB) (one of the 3 co-founders) left the group in October 2019, we got no info why he left it and they dont say anything about it, he was like the swag moves of the group
-Btek & Cristyle left the group to join to the Kinjaz, jbwkz supported that decision
-Tj Lewis and Son Austin are new jbwkz members and they´re super talented, they deserve be there.
-SB is still creating dances for Bruno Mars

@@gianbarata7691 from the gossips I read on their IG and YT comment section, SB might have started to be full of himself being the most famous among the crew (appearing with Bruno Mars and all his solo gigs could have gotten in his head), money, and he probably didn't want the other OGs "communicating" with the former OGs that left crew. If you notice in his last performances wearing the mask, he was mostly with only the Trybe members (TJ, Gavin, Juju, Austin) and sometimes with Punkee. Check their IG posts, when SB left, they started having reunions with the former OGs, and looks like SB was kinda "tight" on them while he was their "leader".

Yeah 4 of the OG's are still in. Kid Rainen, KB, Phi, and Joe. Joe (AKA Punkee) was injured during ABDC so that's why they only had 6 members on the show

i think ay dance crew can do what jabbawockeez is doing but what sets them apart from the other dance crews is literally the masks n style. when they put on the masks, the audience will automatically see them dancing as one unit. if you want to do that as a kpop group it would be impossible bcs in kpop you need to sell your faces n a certain kind of persona (cute, bad boy, heathrob, etc). but for dancing as a group, people just want to see you dance in rhythm as a group. n jabbawockeez have that plus the masks n cool outfits for every performance. plus i think nobody cares if they want to add or change their group members bcs everyone will be wearing masks anyway unlike kpop where you will lose some or a lot of fans. i was 9 when jabbawockeez started n if im not mistaken that was around the time where step up series was hot before they turn lame. until today, the only dance crew i know is jabbawockeez. they don't have to be the best at dancing, you just need to know how to seperate themselves with other dance crews without forgetting the fact that you have to deliver remarkable performances
