My wife and I tried for 2 years to get pregnant and on our 8 year anniversary she told me we were having a baby. Later that day, we had to go the ER for her having bad pain. Come to found out we had lost the baby. I got to a very low low spot in my life and this sound was able to bring me out of it. A year later on to the date had our now 10 month old son. I just found this acoustic version. 100/10. Thank you Asking Alexandria for pulling me back to stable ground.

Absolutely phenomenal. His voice has only gotten better over the years and you can tell he puts so much emotion and power into his singing it is just a pleasure to watch and listen

That was like 6 years ago (Crazy I know), he performed at Mitch Lucker's memorial PERFECTLY ca 6 months after he fcked his voice up, so that was pretty damn lucky.
that was screams. not vocals. vocal cords are not fully used while doing his kinda screams, the FALSE cords are used mostly (not the "false cord screaming, don't be confused with it). thats why he sounded so good
I agree, but honestly when I saw them live in February it was pretty disappointing. The first 2 times I saw them he put in much more effort.

Danny Worsnop can do absolutely anything in any genre. Sing, screech, scream, growl it doesn’t matter. Still the greatest current vocalist over everyone and everyone else. Been a fan since 2011 and never going back. Always a great time seeing and meeting you whether it was in We Are Harlot or Asking Alexandria. Rock tf on Danny 🤘

This rendition gives me chills so much. As a fellow alcoholic I can understand his struggle, but also just revel in how beautiful his voice is... If only he didn't have the drinking issue he'd be on top of the world. It's sad, and an eye opener for me. Not many people in the metal community could pull off this vocal style. He's very unique with his singing voice. ✌️

Its not damaged, thats how he sounds, his voice has healed perfectly.
It sounds very damaged. He may be perfectly healthy, but it still has that quality to it. I think it gives him a unique sound, as long as he's not off key or hurting himself, there's nothing wrong with it.
Well he did get throat surgery a few years back so yeah. It's very damaged
He didn't have surgery, he was prescribed with drugs that helped heal his vocal chords. Danny has stated he has never had vocal surgery.

Osfresia Ustular Danny told Ben he would sing songs from The Black if he wanted, but Ben himself said he wanted to leave them in the past. That's the only reason you don't hear him sing them. Not that he needs to, you can hear how phenomenal his voice is. Denis is talented too though, just not on Dannys level.

Obed Villegas if you didn’t know after the album reckless and relentless he tore his vocal chords that’s why he sounds so raspy.

Obed Villegas That is one thing I kinda am and kinda not worried about. He takes REALLY good care of his voice now. Also gotta factor in age too. He's not in his early 20's anymore. Guys almost 30 now lol.
He's only Rhasphy here because they had just done a set like 6 to 8 hours before this. He sounds this way after about an 40 minutes of singing, or in the morning after a long night of singing.

@@tomaszavala9558 he is a screamer, growler, etc. And i must disagree with you, i, as a certain amount of vocal coaches, think that if you use distortion properly - it will not damage your voice at all. There are a lot of examples.
And Danny Worsnop uses it right:) His voice is destroyed for another reasons - his addictions to a lot of smoking and drinking alcohol.

I guess it’s the whole “omg you’re not playing metalcore anymore so you’re not good.” People can’t handle the fact that bands are comprised of humans who, with time, grow and develop different tastes and interests.
I love how happy Danny looks and how good he sounds. I truly believe AA has found where they needed and wanted to be with this new album.

@@ivyrose5153 Ivy Rose, basically the new album they have recently put out is called Asking Alexandria, their debut album if I am correct. The one with Dennis Stoff is called The Black and befofe that it was stand up and scream and im pretty sure another but i cannot recall the specific name at the moment. All i can say is that Into The Fire Acoustic is done by Danny and rcorded with Danny's voice as well. Which song we're you looling up that had Danny in the video but Dennis' voice? Someone could have dubbed Dennis' voice over Danny's. I don't know. Internet must be wrong. This song was made in 2018 i am pretty sure by Ben Bruce, the lead guitarist. I am not 100% sure on these facts, just what little I have gathered. I suggest more research on Danny and Denis specifically. I woudl also suggest looking at the albums and their song names so that you can see the different songs and tracks and see if someone just messed up or was trying to mess with listeners. You could have listened to a Cover. I am unsure. Get back to me with your answer or further questions. Hopefully I answered your question

@@ivyrose5153 sorry for the late reply but Danny is the original vocalist. They had two eps and two albums before Denis joined around 2014 or 2015 and he recorded an album called "The Black" they kicked Denis out because he was an asshole and Danny came back into the band and released the self titled album. Denis was a replacement for only one album which was The Black. Anything before and after that album is Danny

Amazing! This band grew so much and i've been a fan from the start. Still can't believe how danny's has evolved to become so good!
Honestly the recent album is the best they have ever done. I love them all but this record has amazing depth and soul!
