Hey deep just wanted to correct not being rude but regarding tax minimum is 20% and cut of for that is if your earning more than £40-60k a year other than that your fine and that is included with your national insurance, pension is different it is by law that you have to have a work pension and employer contributes 5 or 10% of what you put in to your pension but its good in long run to have pension
20% is set for FY 2019-20 for upto GBP46K per year, before it was 30% for this range of income. I just checked UK government site to confirm as well. Also, I am not pro in those things. In Academic or I can say in universities contributing in pension is must now. We did not opt before but in this job, my husband have to do.
