keto healed me, broke my junk food diet, lost weight on it (alot was water) but I lose some weight I did not gain back (for the first time ever) cleared up my candida, and alot more I did not stick to it strictly after more than 6 months, frankly I got tired of chicken, beef, bacon, peanuts, etc) but my craving for junk food is still gone, not there anymore, after almost 2 years since doing the keto, I can clearly see improvements in my sleep, stomach issues, energy levels and reduction to almost eliminate to generalized anxiety. (probably insulin/sugar control problem) i eat more carbs then keto would allow but I find if I listen to my body it tells me what it wants and frankly my carb intake is still well below half what I used to consume before keto. the improvements were not fast but dramatic when I noticed the improvments after suffering for decades with these problem. still obese but less obese then before,

I’m not against Carnivore diet but if we are talking about eating natural as god intended then people should be out hunting all year round. Lot of folks that eat Carnivore I assume are still getting their poultry and red meat at a grocery store. Unless it’s fresh killed it isn’t natural I don’t care which farmer says how they feed or raise their cattle. We shouldn’t have supply to meat like that everyday. If we were all Hunter/gatherers back then we would kill a bison or a deer and it would last a couple days maybe a week. We wouldn’t have access to just the meat 4 to 6 meals a day along with eggs and milk. Everything within moderation is key. We evolved to eat meat from eating vegetables and fruits, not the other way around.

However, I cannot help wondering whether it's really so good to have so much extra weight on the body, albeit muscle in his case.
