Whoever lied on that man should be in jail. That’s abuse in itself. What a horrible person to put those thoughts in a child’s head.

I think this is the most heartwarming yet heartbreaking episode I have seen. How cruel to lie to a child that way, their whole life. It genuinely effected her mentally and emotionally to grow up thinking such awful things happened to her. I'm glad they got a happy ending.
Those people and most likely the mother should be in jail for child neglect. Those people really hurt that woman.

Seen it in my own family; my Uncle’s ex-wife got full custody of their Son and Daughter; the kids believed that our grandmother was a “witch” and everyone in our family followed and worshiped her…. My Cousins were 26/28 when they realized our family was actually very close and full of love and laughter…. It was their mom that kept them away from us, at all cost…. My grandparents had 32 grandchildren, we all grew up knowing each other, every month there was a family get together so that grandpa and grandma couldn’t celebrate whatever birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, etc… attendance was mandatory, enforced by grandpa, this was “grandma’s” time to cherish her family…. You don’t hurt grandma’s feelings…. My cousins missed out all of the love; and great food, my aunts could cook 😂

Seeing them hug and cry together as one family, that's the only time I've ever teared up during an episode.
The way she was backing away from her father was so heartbreaking & then quivering her lips when she was crying really tore me up. I really felt her pain but the truth will be revealed. Someone or some people will pay for what they did to her

I really think the quivering was the result of all that pent up adrenaline, fear and all of the thoughts she had in her, that she got to let go of...... I hope whoever decided this was a good idea to do to them, is gonna get some karma in return.

I hope she confronted her family who spent 16 years coming up with cruel and disgusting lies about him and about her. To put a child through that kind of turmoil is just as bad as it actually happening. Her family (most likely bitter mom) need to be confronted..
Ah, this was one of my favorites. It was a very sad story. I knew he was telling the truth judging by his heart, so big, so determined, so loving. When they hugged for a long time, I was teary eyed. That’s how you hug your loved ones…
I believed him the second he said what he spent 16 years in prison for. He is most likely on some form of parole so it would be insane for him to be open about a sex trafficking ring since there’s no statues on that if they can prove it was a gang ring. Plus, if ANY of that was true, why would he not of been in jail for it? If a mother will allow any abuse but specially that significant of abuse to be swept under the rug? It’s either because it’s a lie or because the mother is guilty.

I feel like something happen but not by the real father. The mother was just trying to make up a story to protect the person she was with at the time.
That's the happiest I have ever seen Steve's audience react to a lie detector results. I don't know about anyone else but my heart nearly burst when the audience erupted. I felt every emotion of every person on that stage and in that audience it sort of left me a little breathless. The poor girls family members that put those dispicable stories into the head of a baby girl already dealing with her dad just not been around anymore deserve to be prosecuted and made to pay compensation to her and her father. I can't think of anything more spiteful and disgusting to do to anyone let alone a child from your own family ffs. Prayers to coleste and her father. I couldn't be more happy for the Father & Daughter in the 1st ep. I am so disgusted that someone could brainwash a child so bad who is already SO vulnerable, that it could effect her trusting anyone for the whole begginning of her life. That may have been the best outcome to ANY episode I've ever seen & I am so happy for them. My ❤️ sincerely goes out to them for all they have been through.

This one really touched me...I went 16 years before I sent my dad...so I'm so happy for them both ..I hope they can now have a beautiful relationship and live happy.

I've watched SW show from the start, and this one just made me feel so much. Every baby needs their dad and family, she finally got her family back. Tears for her and all the families that can be healed like this. Bless you, Steve and all the hard workers behind the scenes of you're show.

The first story was absolutely a tear jerker
For the life of me I cannot understand how someone could put their own child through that much misery for that many years and let them think that someone hurt them like that. I think this is the best Steve show I ever seen that first story touched my heart. God bless that family and let them be close.
The people that conjured this story they told this poor woman growing up… Twisted, sick, and evil. God bless this man and his daughter. Franco and Callista, enjoy. I’m so glad Steve could do this for them, and so many. A lot of nasty is exposed. But a lot of beauty is restored, as well.

That first story with Franko, man my heart breaks for this daughter and father! However whoever made this shit up and put that *BULLSHIT* in her head, is a disgusting despicable human being! It’s people like that, who make it harder for *us REAL sexual assault / sexual abuse victims* there are *legit* sex offenders out there getting away with their crimes who need and deserve to be put away! I had a friend who's dad abandoned her mum when she was pregnant. He never wanted to get to know my friend. He lived locally and she told me one day every time she bumped into him he ignored her, pretended she didn't exist. When she had her first child she went to his house and said 'hi dad, this is your granddaughter.' He slammed the door in her face. I felt awful for her, especially as my dad has always been there for me and been very supportive. If I'm in trouble or need advice, he's the first person I go to. Everybody needs their father, or a father figure in their lives. Sadly my friend's mum was a alcoholic and all her boyfriends were awful. My friend sadly had no father figure in her life
Gimme five minutes with whoever wronged that father and daughter. I can't imagine not seeing my father for 20+ years and being told lies about him hurting me.

The way she was looking at her dad with pure disgust before the test shows how much hatred whoever in her family put inside her for her father... And they are pure evil for what they did. Second story, the dad is full of bs. He blames drugs and alcohol yet he's been sober for the past 12 years. Why didn't he contact them during that time? And the half brother is 3, he waited until he was contacted to regurgitate his sob story of wanting his children in his life and in the young brother's life? I've known people like him my whole life. They just want to keep the image of a good person but they actually don't care about the children. They only care about themselves.

I think a lot of people feel like the guy in the second story is trash. He is selfish and only care about himself and his new family. It's kind of like a slap in the face to say I want you to meet and get to know your brother. I'm thinking dude they don't even know you. I honestly would not want to get to know any of them. I don't think they live in the same state and he didn't even want to go and visit the daughter who has a three month old. I don't see this working out.

Omg I was emotional watching this family go through years of lies to be reunited. I was cheering and soooooo happy. That poor young lady being lied to for so many years. I agree with the previous comment made that the family members lied to her with such vulgar lies to a young beautiful girl, robbing her of years of having her father and her brother in her life is appalling. After this revelation if I were that young lady I’d never speak to the family members who lied to her. They are pure evil. Not only for the disgusting lies but to watch this young lady growing up with fabricated trauma but all the emotional baggage that she had to deal with eg not trusting people, men. That would have effected her relationships. When she was on stage shaking and her lips trembling I wanted to give her the biggest hug. For the second family that came on, my biological father left my mom when he found out she was pregnant with a girl. He said if I was a boy he would have stayed. For years when my mother was dealing with him he refused to talk to me on the phone or anything. I found out in 2004 he died from a brain aneurysm and when I found the contact info for the family in the paper I reached out. My grandparents didn’t want to acknowledge me or even believe my bio dad would lie to them and keep a secret. It’s tough.

I'm glad franco passed, but to be honest, I assumed he'd fail after hearing him say "If I pass" and "I hope I pass".
I feel so bad for both of them. I hope they have a good relationship now, they both deserve to be in each others life, and they cut off whoever started those lies.
Im 42, and I've never met my Father. Never will. He passed away in 2015.
