What IF, you used 2 different colors of t shirts so the left and right sides were different colors, like black and white? Like when Michels has solid color tees on sale 2 for $5. I want to try this with black and white!
I wish you could put templates online I’ve been watching your videos forever and we have pretty similar bodies. I’ve only sewn a couple of times and don’t now much about how to make shapes for different kind of styles or to make any piece of clothing in general. It’d be really cool to have something like that! I love all your work
You are so adorable! I am hard of hearing in my right ear but you enunciate your words so well!!!, I am able to understand without rewinding! Normally I use closed caption, subtitles. Also, your articulate way of teaching is so organized!!! I have watched many diy channels but you are heads and shoulders above them in the quality of information and execution!! You are young, beautiful and so very talented! I have a request, have you ever done a video on the proper tools to have in a sewing kit/room? And , how to maintain the health of one's sewing machines? My tension with seams has always been a real source of frustration for me. I am starting to sew again, to help me overcome a concussion, resulting in a mild TBI, I sustained from a work accident. Sewing is much more fun than doing puzzles, ect.❤❤❤❤❤❤
I tried doing this today. I dont have a sewing machine but.... it turned out so well 🤗I couldn't follow everything she did but I'm proud of the results thank you🥰🥰
So so cute...I just BOUGHT a similar top witth a v neck and crossover ywist just like this it was of a coral polyester with tiny white designs and butterfly sleeves...it is SO gorgeous for summer...it has a zipper installed upside down in the sideseam to make it easier to get on and off...I love it. The store also had one in yellow but he wrong shade of yellow for me...$35 each so I am going to see what I can do...first I will try to copy yours from an old t shirt to see how hard this is going to be for me then I'll go out and purchase fabric if the tee works...THANKS!

I tried this accidentally cut the back side too lol I tried using fruit of the loom white tee the material was to stiff. I think something soft and stretchier will be better. Cute top!

That is so darned cute. I saw one the other day with two different colored front sides and twisted I guess an extra time so that one color on top was the color on the opposite side bottom. You should give that a try! Great episode.
I'd love to see some T Shirt mods that incorporate those with silk screen designs on them. I could see this one working with an overall silk screen design, but not one with some main artwork on the front. I receive a lot of crew neck t shirts like that and I don't really like wearing crew necks and like to dress them up a bit more.
I love the stuff you do 😍 I have a backless black summer dress that I love the look of but the straps never stay on. The top of the dress is front only and lace with tiny straps the bottom is really loose gauzy long skirt I'd love to see what ideas u have for it I'm not sure where ur based specifically but I'd be all for meeting up and if you like the dress you can use it for a video
Thanks for this tutoiral! I found this although it's now some years old and hope you might answer a question. What did you do to the bottom center front; was it pleated up, not trimmed? Looks as if the diagonal seaming was enough to create the shaping, but then you hemmed as a later step. Any thoughts on sizing up, how much? Because the trial I made reduced SO much that a shirt originally size 2XL would not fit my 36" bust. I messed up the trimming side seams for sure! Using thrifted tees amounts to an inexpensive sewing class! So, I shall try again. I love your clarity, the trendy-but-modest good taste, common sense info, the editing for most content in the least amount of time, and the music not being obtrusive. The great ideas and beautiful sewing are great content but the style makes it so accessible too. THANKS, blessings and best wishes to you!

Could you do some do some hurting transformations with sweaters or knitted pieces?? I really love the style is you end up making and everything comes out so beautiful. My mother used to so and hand make all of our Halloween costumes and so many other things when I was younger. She’s in her 70s now and she is still making handbags and anything else she Can think of.
