Jaden Coucopoulos sony did think of these sounds, very carefully in fact. i program on a PlayStation 2 TOOL DTL-T10000 and there are even more sounds. Dev documentation specifies what alternative bootup sounds means.

You can achieve the same result by bridging pins on the Boot Rom. In my the early days of PS2 chipping I'd occasionally mess up and bridge a pin and not notice. I'd power it on and the intro would go nuts lol. Careful not to bridge the 3.3v power line on the chip else you'll fry it.
