Only problem with this formula is if you type in Column A and enter then it will keep the date but if you delete everything then it will remove the formula. Formula should be edited so no matter what happens in column A...including emptying it then it should not delete formula from col b

Hello! I followed exactly how you had the first formula and it did not work. It gave me 1/0/1900 0:00 ... what did I do wrong? I formatted the cells exactly and did the iteration as well
Why someone will waste his time by doing this ? When next time file will be opened all dates will be changed automatically as u have inerted Now worksheet function.

Try again. Follow the instruction carefully. Once the formula 1 works the second one will work too.

Date function works along with the pc date. So there is nothing you can do.

Not that i know of. You can get created date, modified date etc. of a workbook not individual entries that is already placed.

Date won't change. It will add present date. Only new entry will have the new date. Previous entry will have previous date.
