So was talking to my friend speedy about a doing a possible mmv/amv collab awhile ago. We finished it in time for AWA and it was a fun project to do together! I did the manga portions and he did the anime portions. this amv was a pain to render lol but I am happy it finished. It was interesting to get his perspective for the manga scenes and I gave some input for the anime scenes. Some parts might work better than others but this was great learning experience trying to incorporate manga into action scenes. Plus I got to collab with a friend so that was fun! The way that the anime and manga scenes were put together is so cool. I have never seen anything like this before.

Really enjoyed the way you overlayed the manga source material with the anime scenes. Very creative.
Never would have guessed this was a collab, I expected more that the anime and manga would be more segmented from each other, but they were blended so well that it feel like one editing vision. Love little touches like the manga showing through the afterimages of swords and attacks. This must have been a hard one to plan but it came out great.
I remember people talking and saying how creative this was during the contest. Keep the hard work! Hope we will see you editing again next year!

the editing of the manga panels into stuff like the streak left by zenitsu is so masterful. I've always loved your amvs and I will be definitely checking out speedy as well!

(So I'm 3 days late to this video; but I still wanted to say how I much I enjoyed it soooo) Wow, wasn't the collab I was expecting; but one I love all the same. Speedy to me always felt like an underrated editor, so it was cool to see this happen.
I really do love the balance of anime to manga source. I feel you've always have had a knack for manga panel selection and structure; so combined with Speedy's superb action flow we get the exhilaration of the battles while feeling the weight of what they fight for. It's just a well constructed video.
