(Morgan Freeman narrating) I like to think the only thing that went through Michael Faraday other than that bomb explosion was how Andy Dufresne ever got the better of him
It was SOO FUCKING ANNOYING. I got so mad I threw my soda at my backyard and just yelling " NOOO DAM IT" I am the "Heros always saces the day" type of person. So this movie was the only movie I love to not see. I haven't seen it since 2014. And won't ever again.
They are one of those shocking and unexpected endings, I love that, because they take us out of the comfort zone as spectators and put us in an uncomfortable zone, because one never expects the bad guys to win in a movie, but rather that the hero saves the day, And here it was the opposite, the bad guys wins.
@@hollowify_tensa_zangetsu But hey, that's the charm of unexpected endings, if you always expect more of the same from a movie, they're already boring, that's why surprise endings like Arlington Road, Sixth Sense and The Game blow your mind, because they're so good because you don't expect them.
Michael Faraday just didn’t know the concept of “Mind your own fucking business”. I knew it was a wrap when he pretended he was locked out his house and went into Oliver’s house uninvited. He was the perfect person to frame cause he acted like a paranoid Schizophrenic. Moral of the story. Just mind your own business lol
Not for me, it's a great ending, because of the unexpected, I like that as a spectator they take me out of my comfort zone, and give me something I didn't expect and surprise me, But hey, that's the charm of unexpected endings, if you always expect more of the same from a movie, they're already boring, that's why surprise endings like Arlington Road, Sixth Sense and The Game blow your mind, because they're so good because you don't expect them.
Can’t believe this didn’t do well at the box office. People dont know quality cinema.
They should have made a sequel where Grant discovers what really happened years later and gets revenge for his father's death.
No happy ending, no money.
Jeff bridges and Tim Robbins weren’t known for block busters in those days. It also didn’t get a lot of promotion from the studios
Same with Judgment Night 1993 sadly that one came out same weekend as Jurassic Park
@@Barbapippo Seems happy to me.😁😁😁

This ending was so messed up but it was great at the same time because it was completely unexpected! Honestly my heart sank the first time I saw this!

This is not the type of situation where you just zip it. He could've done something smarter but he acted as a responsible citizen should.

In Oliver Stone's Natural Born Killers, also the bad guys win in the end, they live happily ever after and no one complained about it.
@@andarporbuenosaires They actually did. There's an alternate ending where they die.
I was JUST WATCHNG something about the Fan Man Incident...
