This video is the most powerful thing I ever seen. I know brothers who wouldn't have participated because of pure ego. And I know elder wise men who wouldn't open their mouth to give another man a wake up call like this. This is love in the truest form.

@@boomshakalaka8655 I assume they were talking about the man's vulnerability and willingness to struggle against the teacher to get to his family, but I don't think your point is fair about the push-ups either. Notice that the young man's grandfather was present, but he sat out of the push-ups because he was injured. The important part is that he's there for his grandson. The push-ups are just symbolic.
And the biological father wasn't showing off at all. He was demonstrating to his son that he's willing to fight and sacrifice for him.

This was very insitefull. Thank you.
Thou my time for teaching is over, i will continue to learn. So maybe someday i will do better.

As someone who's father left when I was 13, this too touching.
Obviously I don't know all the nuances of this case.. But to me, it looks like the head of this family, the grandfather, raised his boys magnificently but one drifted astray momentarily (the previously absentee father). No judgments; it's something that can happen within ANY family. But this family was so close, and so well raised, that they rallied together to help guide their loved one who went astray. And they possibly prevented several generations of broken families; these things get passed down.
Hats off the the grandfather who raised such a supportive family. Hat's off to the uncles for doing their part. AND ESPECIALLY, hat's off to the biological father who is changing course to do the right thing... Coming from someone who's father dipped.. it's impossible to describe how much it means to that young man.

    But this is good trauma.
That's the trauma that holds you up when you take the hardest of blows in life.
50 years from now, this daughter and son will remember how their dad physically fought his way through this weird senseï to get to them.
And they'll know, they'll all know what's important and right, even all religion and personal opinions aside.
(My atheist father did the same kind of thing to me, with love and care, when he thought I was too shy, younger, to defend myself. Now, 30 years later, his image still come to my mind, burning as ever, everytime I feel ready to give up against tremendous adversity, and help me rise as a lion)

That.was.amazing. Highly supportive of the work that you're doing Mr. Wilson. Even "good" men can get lost and need the help of other brothers to get them back on the right path. THIS is how you save the lives of children. Thank you brother for all of your work in the community and for continuing the fight of nurturing the spirit of these young men.

I suffer from depression and anxiety, most Sundays I spend alone at home. Crying for most of it because I need that emotional release to feel balanced so I can function in society and make it through my work. week. It's good to cry. Let it out. Don't let your emotions get pent up.

Thanks for having the courage to post this video. God bless all of you in this endeavor of life. Satan is there testing us every day, just like how you showed. He attacks in so many forms. Sobering and this was what we all needed to see.

I'm not sure how I found your videos sir, but I'm very glad that I did. I'm not a religious man or a martial artist. I'm simply a father who wants to do better for my own children. What you do for these families and young men is an amazing thing to see and it is also very inspiring. Thank you for sharing these videos. Keep up the outstanding work sir.

    Love your lessons sir.
You really put deep emphasis on the spiritual side and nature of martial arts when it comes self development , family and community.
As a martial artist myself the spiritual aspect is not pressed on at my dojo.
    Love your work.
    Keep it up master.
    Awaiting for more content.

this is so principle! I struggled with the whole Alpha male agenda and "red pill" lifestyle thinking that I would get me respect. As a Christian, I should know better yet I fell for some ego-tistical....I still cant Identify what it is. Nonetheless, I need to do more research and give more attention to the solution of my problems. Thank you again for this.
