Always fun to watch you find some sheds. Nice buck there! It’s cool to see nala, she’ll get the hang of it my buddy and I didn’t take out his dog till she was about 4, for the first few years she didn’t understand what we were doing. She’s about 8 now a she’s a great shed dog.
If you could put the big antler from last year together with that big antler you found in this video that would be cool to see, I definitely believe it’s the same buck. Great work and unbelievable sheds!
Definitely similar. When I got it home I checked them out. This buck had pretty different pedicals and slightly less mass. Thinking they share some genetics for sure.
You said u run cams in there before and during hunting season and don’t get any of the bucks burning that time. If you’re not already, u leave them up through the winter/spring and maybe figure which direction they are coming from when they get to the area. Might help u figure out where they are living the fall. If it seems like the are enter the area from the east, then start setting your cams that direction fanning out. Maybe next year u catch one or 2 more passing through then u set them further out that direction. Fun videos and amazing sheds!
I do leave them out year round. Sometimes I don't get back to the area as much as I would like, and the batteries run out before they can get the migration. I did get a couple 140 in bucks coming through, but none of the giants.
