Gina, I loved your reaction to the Plumeria blossom. yes, it is perfume and every time I see them, I am reminded of my first trip to Hawaii when I discovered them. so grateful that I could still smell back then. .. Anyways You are both brave to visit La Crucecita Huatulco in the Warmer season... I understand why it might be important to do this as if you were to make it your permanent home you need that "worst case scenario" However after watching Cindy and Fred for years, I have decided to make sure I go during the coolest season... which is still going to be WARM but perhaps lower Humidity. Love your videos!! That Mexcal drink looked amazing! anyways... YEAH... Lovely video!

Thanks Diana. Our thought process is that if we love it at it's worst, then we are great in the good season. Only by experiencing it will we ever really know. We thought it was hot on the other coast, but so far, this is the warmest location. There are so many positives here in Huatulco though.

BTW- I've stayed at a few of the smaller hotels in Las Crucecita when I come down there to surf some of the places on the way South towards Salina Cruz and it's always been steaming hot. I've also surfed in my birthday suit while visiting in Playa Zipolite that's just South of there. It's close to another small beach town called Mazunte that are both great little beaches to visit and you can always smell smoke in the air but it's not from cigars or cigarettes! If you two ever decide to make it to Ensenada look me up and I'll show you around town and treat you to lunch at the World famous La Guerrerense seafood stand that Anthony Bourdain claimed as being the best in the World!. Its 74 as I type this and it has only gotten up into the 80's a few times so far this year. It usually warms up here in late summer and the forecast says it will be up into the 90's next week. What I did find was a very modest place without a view for $250,000 USD. There were some very nice condo community apartments and casas with community pool and maybe a sea view starting at $500,000 and up from there. I didn't see any single family home on private property with beach/sea view listed, but you can expect prices into $1 million USD. There is a LOT of construction in the area too. ~Gina
