Want to make both a Last Wish and a Phoenix Monarch, after having had lots of luck with Jahs in the past - found 5 so far, but got only 1 of those left now after making Enigma, Dual Dream, and Faith. Got 5 Ber though, after cubing up the Sur from today. So if I wanted I could already make my Last Wish or the Phoenix :)

If I remember, your Zod rune was in the pits too. Probably not with your poison necro though. Nice on the set Vortex shield. That's the only set item I've never seen drop in the game and I've played since the release of the original Diablo 2.
I live in Macomb Cty Michigan so I'm right around you somewhere. Like those Sur runes. But I wanted to say I always noticed Sur runes always came easy for me too. I remember back in the day you'd have to trade like 4 Surs to get one useful HR back in the day. I used to feel like Cham was another that dropped all the time too.
It's not a super chest in the pit. It's commonly referred to as a sparkly chest. It works differently to super chests you're thinking of, like in LK or forgotten tower. Tals tombs has similar sparkly chests
Is it just me or does the audio only come from the left side in the last 1.5 minutes? (It's not my headphones, they worked fine on another vid) Other than that, sick video as always, keep up the great work
I came back to d2r after about half a year of not playing. Was on my lvl 91 zealer. Ran my first terror zone in the catacombs. Opened a chest. Gul rune came out. The next day I was on my lvl 91 hammerdin. Killed shenk the overseer and thought a sol rune dropped. Looked at it again and it was actually a Sur. I played many, many, many hours of d2 LOD on the legacy platform and I did not have near the amount of high runes drop to hours played ratio as I have with D2R. If they increased the high rune drop rate a bit I'm fine with it.
So I started a SP playthrough, hammerdin. I'm level 74 in hell but my gear sucks. I've been farming P1 to try and find gear but not having great luck. I got spirit sword/shield, +1 skills helm/armor and that's it.. So I need suggestions on where to find better gear and high runes xD
@@southhouse8420 okay thanks, I got some item that gives me 20 teleport charges, it's a two handed axe, but if I got it right next to wp should be enough. Thanks for suggestions:) I wasn't sure if meph would be better or if just a 85 area. I'll rock meph first.
@@d8l835 Old. I still remember trading a Sol rune for an SOJ. Then I traded that SoJ for a Tal Rasha Mask, except the clever guy did the "click click click" trick and I ended up with just a normal mask.
3 days ago I got insanely lucky. My Highest rune in 20 years was a sur. Now I found a Jah in terrorized cows. And a few hours after a second Jah in the terrorized spider cave. Just stupid
Online, usually it's arcane, killing monsters on the way down to the countess in the tower, chaos. I play a lot of sorc, so that's where I go. Really it's just where ever you kill monsters as fast as possible. Helps if it's an area with any type of ghosts.
Odd, I thought when you open a super chest and get uniques they're ALL unique but yet you got 3 uniquies and 2 magic items. I was wrong the whole time. Every time I got a unique super chest like that they all rolled unique must have just been my luck the 3 times it ever happened lol
Cut the skillers for more mf or life/res scs. I do up to p7 on my hc necro with only 75 fcr, and use no skillers. The little extra CE range and nova damage reallt isnt necessary as cool as big numbers are. It really doesn't improve your merc dps for that first kill
Hey, there are many RUclipsrs who start from zero or just speedrun the game. Maybe something like a "i farm gear to kickstart X character/build" would be interesting. "Stealth" is kinda the to go runeword, but with your knowledge you can give more tipps for different characters. Anyways, have a good one!

Many over to D4 ya. And most dedicated players play offline single player if they aren't PVPers. Even not counting D4, it's not uncommon for online to stall out neat end of ladder.
starting to think what's wrong with D2R players to go 12 hours into the same zone over and over and over again. restarting the game and doing the same crap again and again. crazy shit i tell you i'd like to know what amout of high runes will get you to be finally happy and settled, you're still happy about a BER / JAH rune drop after 20 years of D2? hmmm
I would not really recommend normal people to spam farm 1 location for dozens of hours. It just makes for a resonable video topic and title really. "I farmed random locations for 12 hours" as the video title on every video every few days just doesn't work as well on RUclips.
I wish you focused less on single player stuff. It’s only my opinion, but as someone who doesn’t even touch single player, nothing you do here gives me that itch to try it myself, since you can do 12 hours runs with a fixed number of players and layout. It’s just feels like you are playing easy mode. I still love your videos, they just don’t resonate as much as the ones you do when not in single player.
Man videos like this piss me off :P. I've put almost 35 hours into hell cows p7 150ish mf and the best rune I've found was a single um and not one good unique... FML

Within 6 hours of gameplay I found a vex from P1 terrorized Tristram and a Jah from P1 terrorized durance lvl3 (council member)
That time I ran Pits for 2 months to get a Lo for my first Grief and find it on a white imp. Level 1, in the entrance running countess….

super chests will always drop items of same class. so if its rare all items will be rare. same goes for uniques (much rarer)
