To Gregg: Please consider that using the word "intervention" when it refers to life and biology into consciousness generally supports a return to religious dogma, anthropocentrism and creationism that works against a message of an organic intelligent universe. A different way of looking at it does not require an “intervention” from anywhere else, but sees the biological and any other life process as containing an evolving consciousness in themselves, - consciousness as the nature of reality - which uses the phenomenal “physical” world as its implementation. For example; within Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism (as natural philosophies rather than other forms of dogma, feudalism or fetishism) they have a term for a universal pregnant emptiness, full of possibilities from where everything arises: "Sunyata". So, regarding the fluid universe discovery and scientific description that Nassim looks for, that you said requires a nurturing cultural transformation; the manifestation of this dream of ours inevitably puts us at odds with the previous dogmas and obscurantist religious views. We must start by clarifying that we are not “intervened” or “impregnated” from anywhere else “outside” but that our existence and biological evolution is an inside-out process (or “emergence”) from the particle to the cell, to the complex community of organisms that strive to follow the rhythms of a conscious universe.
