@@jhilladay Lucky! You’ll love it - I guess it is now a Ritz Carlton but I don’t think they’ve changed anything. This hotel will definitely fit into the Ritz portfolio! And Ritz is a Marriott, so if you’re a Marriott Bonvoy member, you’ll get points - nice little bonus 😀
close to Haleiwa but def not 20 mins. probably before or after dawn patrol but not around 8AM. KamHI is a one laner, during the day, cars clogged it up, and if there is a lolo jeep or mustang trying to do a UTURN in the middle of the road then you are SOL. probably 40 mins away.
Point well taken! And when folks are slowing down for turtle beach it’s definitely an extra 20 minutes. I did a quick search on my phone and it was 20 minutes, but it was 8 pm, so my bad. People just need to relax and appreciate the scenery and time will go more quickly.
Can you please tell me where the free parking is? As the resort told me there’s no free parking and it will cost $48.18 per day. If there’s free parking, then that would be a huge savings when we stay there in September. Thank you.
@@checarina1 I know you can park for free in the lot that will be on your right before you get to the hotel entrance, basically behind Roy’s. However, I do not know for sure if you can park there overnight. I will check with someone I know who lives there and see if they know. I’ve definitely parked there for free during the day when I wasn’t staying overnight but they may not allow overnight parking in that lot. I’ll try to find out though.
@@HikinukiWorldTour-pk8dd Oh my goodness that is amazing! Thank you so much for asking and taking the time to reply back. So helpful. Enjoy your time in Hawaii and at the resort!
I remember when it was under $100 a night in the late 80s to early 90s. "Get away... To Turtle Bay. 2 nights 3 days. It also wasn't as upscale as it is now. The shopping area resembled Pearlridge Mall instead of Rodeo Drive.
Nice review! Staying 7 nights in May and looking forward to it!

Nice job narrator. The female version of Rick Steves.
Haha! Thanks - #Goals!!

I'm a local and will never pay 700 a night
