Theres an awesome rock store in Delta. Main Street Rock Shop. Thanks for the video. Love that area.
This entire and vast area has absolutely no shortage or limits of exploration areas. Been living in Beaver the last 12 yrs and get out into these areas as much as possible. I have found no better place to live if one has an exploring heart, even back home in Barstow was not as fascinating as this remote area is. It is a very good move.
I always enjoy your videos, they are done in a very good manner, thank you
Glad you enjoyed it. Yup, there's lots to explore around here. Thanks for commenting.
Great video!
Thanks!
I always look forward to your uploads.
Thank you! And thanks for commenting.
Fun and informative video to ride along with. Glad you mentioned Shawn Willsey, I've been following his geology channel for a couple years and had already watched his recent video on Crystal peak. Good stuff! I enjoy your videos, keep up the great work.
Thank you. If it wasn't for Shawn's video on Crystal Peak, I wouldn't have known about this place. However, I'm sure Shawn hasn't thought about visiting Sevier Lake.
@@BackRoadsWest1 I would venture that Shawn has thought about Sevier Lake as it is in that area but he did do a video on Mono Lake, and as well as Notch peak which is also in that area and was very interesting. Between his content, Nick Zentner's and Myron Cook's, we are fortunate to have geology lessons on a near weekly basis.
Crystal Peak, as seen from the East (just as you exit the pass at the S end of Sevier Lake, headed West), glows a strange neon orange-pink on clear mornings in late May and July, for about ninety seconds just as the rising sun breaks the horizon.
Cool! I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for commenting.
I’ve seen too many of those signs knocked over. 🙁
Which sign you referring to?
