- A rather large serpentine blade was found recently in Japan. After escalating the Tomio Maruyama Burial Mound they found this almost 9 foot blade.
Some are saying this was a ceremonial blade meant to fight evil spirits, but what do you think?
Let me know in the comment section.

The comment section definitely took a turn in a un expected direction lol
Expecting people to appreciate an artifact that gives us insight on the abilities of ancient smiths? Nah, giants.
@@jonajo9757 Lol, I was very surprised
a weapon by the nephilim
@@californiacitizenswatch Or a smith demonstrating his abilities to forge large pieces of metal.
The default "likely ceremonial use" that arqueologist use when they don't know what something is fits pretty well on this one.
I mean, it's Japan. They make ceremonial pieces on arms and armor from time to time.
Probably probably ceremonial considering the time period
Also would be interesting to know what kind of steel and the weight of it is tho coz that could be a massive tell if it’s made anything like ceremonial European baring swords
So Guts from Berserk existed❤😄
didnt they have giant sword as ritual item?
Wow a new video, this is why I love you and your channel. I think this find is interesting.
Onimusha dawn of dreams
Obviously Giant Demon Samurai existed 🙄
Ceremonial Temple Ken-To.
bruh so awesome samurai Jack is actually real 🤙🏽
I bet all my money, that if they make an anime out of this, the sword is gonna look like a Katana instead of a more historically accurate look.
Giant Samurai exist. Or not...
please make more for honor shorts there so intresting
would be nice to know when it was made. 4th century C.E or earlier?
Based on the scale and width, too unwieldy to use as a weapon, so either a ceremonial weapon or some sort of field-sign like a flag.
Likely ceremonial. Japan tends to make such pieces when it comes to arms and armor
@@jonajo9757Likely? It absolutely is, it was found in a burial mound.
@@atom8248 True. Also people kinda don't realize that artists like to show off. Next thing, they're going to those giant gimmicky candy bars are evidence that giants still exist.
Keep digging and you'll find the owner of this sword, a very tsll man. Giants were. Buried I'm these mounds.
Okay and? What are you trying to insinuate. That there were giant's using big ass swords 😅😂
Nah, unlikely. Dude's probably thinking it's a cool find.
The bible talks about giants. Originally, humans were more ideally designed being larger, stronger, faster, smarter and lived longer than what we do now. Sin has caused a devolution if you will. The same goes for animals, they have decreased in size as well.
However, some groups of people remained larger. Goliath and his brothers are the most commonly known. Goliath was around nine feet tall, wore a coat of armor that weighed 125lbs, used a 15lb sword and a spear with a 20lb iron head.
Of course, he wasn't the only giant. In the time of Moses when they were going to enter the promised land, at the time it was under the rule of King Og whose bed was 13ft long and 6ft wide and had to be made of iron. Giving an indication to his size and weight.
We are too doomed by our yearning to know our past. Leave what’s dead and buried dead and buried.
Why do you say that?
@@JapanatWar because. Digging up the dead doesn’t teach us anything. We need to move forward.

It’s important to learn from our past to help shape our future. You must be religious, they are the only people that do not want any more of the past studied. “It’s all right here in this book, thats been translated so many times it probably makes the opposite point it originally intended”.
@@jmccain22090 I am religious but it doesn’t make a difference in my understanding of humanity and that studying the past doesn’t gain us anything. Look at politics. We have been fighting over the same petty things for thousands of years. Yet we study history and still commit the same crimes.
Giants. They're in the Bible.
The Bible, God's words talks about giants. Nonbelievers are the only ones surprised .
It's Japan. They tend to do this. Plus it's only one sword. Why would only a few giant arms and armor exist while we have endless examples of human-sized arms and armor?
@@jonajo9757There was another one but I don’t disagree with what you say
