Thanks .I learned how to use mine by trial and error but, your tips definitely help.I found that using the least amount if shisha possible ,The bigger clouds and flavor,not to forget that it’s easier to HM and it seems to last longer..
I had the glass bowl and it cracked from the heat. I recently bought the gold aluminum bowl. I’ve used that for a while and noticed my sessions were getting shorter due to the heat production. I am currently smoking the clay version by kaloud using the kaloud lotus 2 and I’m loving it. Almost 2 hours and no problem. I was wondering if kaloud can or will produce bowls that are interchangeable. That way I can throw away my cracked glass and insert a new bowl in the silicone. Just a thought.

Since the metal vitria overburns cuz it’s made out of metal, would using one coal instead of the usual two make it burn at more reasonable temperature?
That would be so convenient if it worked wouldn’t it? I remember that was the first thing I tried when the aluminum samsaris came out - sadly that’s not how HMD’s work. You see, you need to get the HMD to temp first, then use the HMD to heat the tobacco in the bowl; in the case of the alu samsaris it gets hot since it’s directly in contact w the alu HMD and ends up getting too hot. Understanding this, 1 cube in a Lotus or Lotus I+ isn’t enough to get the HMD to temp so that you can enjoy your tobacco fully. And this is where engineering and understanding of hookah comes into play. Do the Samsaris Vitria bowls have good Flowrate? Yes, but that’s about it.
Does the Lotus II fit with the Samsaris Vitria II without knocking off easily? ( The Lotus I+ kind of locks in with the silicone, does the Lotus II do that too?)
Allow me to save you the trouble by speaking more to the point: the samsaris got a 6/10 it means it’s only a tiny bit better than a $5 Egyptian bowl. Furthermore, save your money and do not purchase a Lotus 2 - it doesn’t work nearly as well as a Lotus I+ and didn’t even make the cut at www.hookahunltd.com

So watching this video it seems Kaloud isn’t good at creating bowls lol every bowl has issues lol
I recommend the Lotus I+ for beginner tier shisha tobacco extensively; however, I’d comfortably state that Kaloud isn’t good at creating anything other than that one singular HMD as all the other Lotus versions have been relative failures too and all their hookahs are bloated nonsense
Also, if I wasn’t clear enough: yes, you’re absolutely correct (so far at least, as there’s always hope Kaloud redeems themselves with great performing product)
