Yes, correcting us is a very loving act of God. Allowing us to continue in our sinful ways would be the unloving thing to do, because the farther into sin we dive, the more severe the consequences in this life can be. And ultimately unrepented sin takes the Christian outside of God's will and removes our fellowship with Him. So convicting our hearts/rebuking us/discipling us/correcting us whichever term you prefer to use is God loving us as a parent loves a child.
Indeed sin has a way to drive us farther from God the longer we entertain it. God in his loving mercy is always ready to take us back when we truly turn from our ways. God bless you. He is a good father.
You are right sis!Yes , It is hard😔💔 But I see it as hard conversations for the greater gain. Better win the souls of a loved one than pamper them for approval or validation and not telling them wherr they've missed the mark. 🤷🏽♀️ We all need this type of help. And its almost a dangerous thing to have noone around that can stand for truth and kick us back into alignment with salvation.
Yea I think one of the biggest elements of God that majority of Belivers overlook is that He’s our Father, and He does discipline us because of love. There’s still consequence to actions
Absolutely. The concept of unending grace has confused many congregations now to the point where they've pushed repentance and teachings about scene in some corner, so they are no longer teaching about repentance. Teaching about sin and teachings are more concentrated on grace prosperity... love and happiness forever....and all that when God's love absolutely teaches us and rebukes us so that our soul will be saved.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8a (ESV) Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth

Correction makes us better. If we aren't corrected we may head down a wrong path.
Worst thing in life is to boldly be wrong and not know it. God help us.🙌🏽
