      That podcast definitely showed how two faced boogie is too. He evaded getting straight up honest with himself and Caleb about his finances and then goes back on actually bettering himself (which he’s done for years). Watching his content at this point (in my view) is just a waste of time supporting someone who doesn’t deserve it or the help of others.

    The thing with Boogie is, there's always something else. There's always something else he forgot to mention, or something else he downplayed. That and there's always an excuse. There's no reason he can't get a job. He just refuses to, but refuses to own up to not wanting to work. He just makes excuse after excuse. He made his bed, now he can lay in it.

Most people can’t get any of it bc i believe (someone please give the correct phaseout range) if their household net income is > $120,000. I got this video in my suggested after almost a year of not watching and it will be the last for a while. Toxic work culture is real. 80 hour "hustle" culture is the fastest way to burn yourself out and that takes years to recover from. Your health is not worth some extra money. I live in NYC and husband is a student in MTL. In NYC I buy my food only at lidl/aldi for $250-300 usd per monthly for just me. In MTL my husband can spend $250 cad if he shops food sales and goes to 3-4 grocery stores to buy the cheapest items at each store. This is about $190 usd a month. I find food to be cheaper in Quebec plus you have a lot more food variety at that low budget. But it all depends where you are located and were you are comparing it too.

    • @sprint7412
      @sprint7412 8 месяцев назад

      @@itakenapsi think it's still too high. $300 for one person should be the norm, but it actually gets cheaper per every person added because it's easier to buy in bulk. For example, when one person buys milk, they'll get a half gallon because they know they can't use a whole gallon before it goes bad. But if there is two people, they need to get a gallon and it's cheaper than buying two half gallons.

    I agree… while ppl do learn from financial audits, they are still in fact a form of entertainment. Especially the hot messes ones. I commend anyone going on the show, I would never. I don’t really care about strangers knowing my finances but ppl I know IRL knowing exactly how much money I have, make and spend ? Hell no.

      I have never minded telling people what I make. The only people who benefit from that is corporations. Now I don't tell people without them asking (because I'm not conceded) but if someone ask me I give them a range. Nothing wrong with keeping to yourself (at all ) but nothing inherently wrong with sharing it either

    Good video. I am not a fan of his content after watching him for a year. I will have to say that depending on his current interest rate on his mortgage and how much time is left it could be better to refinance it if it will lower the monthly payments then take that freed up money to pay down the high interest debt. Even lowering the mortgage monthly payments by $50 to $100 by doing this could help a lot for him.

But having 104 to up to 3.5k stocks holdings in one purchase is a lot safer in my opinion. "The IRS are not evil"
    If coercing peaceful people to involuntarily hand over money they themselves earned to a system that freely wastes money not in the interest of its citizens is not evil then i'm not sure what is. We all know the private sector is far more efficient and better than what the government provides. And if a private company isn't efficient enough the free market will make sure it goes bust and a better company will replace them. A government gets money through taxation regardless how wasteful and inefficient they are.
