Yes, you can use flex it encapsulate. Flex isn't any different than our other gels you build with except that it's a thinner consistency. It would be up to you if you like working with Flex or something thicker.
Hi Karan, is the clear sculpture gel different from the base gel? Is there more gel. I would really appreciate it if you tell us about the different and what are they used for and when? It is confusing lol. Thanx 🙏
Other than Base gel, which is to create adhesion to the natural nail, all of the other Synergy gels work the same. They are all used for building structure. The only difference is how thick or thin they are. Keep watching the Karens videos, and her RUclips Lives. She is really good at explaining why she uses each product. Clear Sculptor is different than Base gel. You always want to use Base gel on the natural nail. Clear Sculpture is used to Build the strength in the nail.
@@jmrgunnersGreat explaining. After Base which is necessary, it's all about the viscosity. I have become so used to using Clear Sculpture because the thick viscosity was necessary while I was learning and moved slower, that now I just about use Sculpture for everything after applying Base even though I have all of the others 😂😂😂 I finally used Gloss as a top coat on a client the other day for the first time and it was amazing 😍
Do you find the pinched part of the forms get in the way when curing, as in Im not able to put me hand/finger flat on base of lamp and it’s higher up…would this affect curing at all ? ❤thanks
Usually we build out the extension and then remove the form so the nail will cure easier, but if you need to, you can cut off any of the form that's interfering with the hand position in the light.
Hi Karen and YN family. Just came up in my head since I don’t have transfer gel on hand. Would it be possible to use a thin layer of base coat or a thin layer of gel nail glue to transfer the foil just the same?
We haven't had good results with the tacky surface of gel, the transfer foil won't stick to it. You may be able to use glue, but the timing has to be perfect so it sticks an adheres the foil, but not completely adheres the backing. We have the best results with our Transfer Foil Adhesive.
@@youngnailsinc thank you 🙏🏾 I will order some because I don’t want to fight with the adhesion part lol I’ll get frustrated quickly with it. I am happy I asked before going for it ^_^ can’t thank you guys enough ^_^

Yes, the pink is Concealer Pink Synergy gel (hard gel) with ManiQ Sheer Pink 101 on top. The dimensional nails are our glitter Silent Type, but it has been discontinued. You can get a similar look with these glitters: Search Mode, Empty Apartment & Wedding Rumors.
