Thanks for another great show Andy and thank you so much for your comments on my bee pictures. Speedy little devils! BTW, Got my first ever Barn owl shots last Sunday - simply stunning creatures. Photos were only just adequate as I was caught totally by surprise when it appeared round a bush.

Love the Barn-owl images, stunning birds. Now that you’ve changed to Olympus system how do you find focusing differences from optical to EVF. IE trying to find the subject in flight.

Loving the photographs of the barn owl, particularly the hunting shot. These Wild Angle shows are going from strength to strength. I hope you intend to keep these up when lockdown relaxes.

Hi Andy, bit slow in watching episode 12! Love those Barn Owls but you're right about the hair but at least it was ala Mr Trump. Thanks for the critiques, I had a nightmare with the spider getting it background to some sort of reasonable state as it was on the inside of a perspex window in one of the hides at RSPB Dungesness and my PS skills ran out to the point that I got to. Did your crop take out the fly? Like the crop you did on the sunset/moon - it was an awesome sunset to watch progress. Thanks once again for the kind words.

Great video / pictures. A question if I may, at 7:45 , the hunting shot, you said shutter priority + Auto ISO, but -2/3 stop exposure. How does that work, I presumed that the camera would just increase the ISO by a bit to compensate, if not what is the benefit.

Thanks. I will have a look at what I said and get back to u, pushed now with a project deadline

Although the camera will increase the ISO, it will do it accordingly to what the camera thinks is the right exposure, but at the end you are the one who has to have the control over the camera and override it in this case with a -2/3 stop exposure. I understand that the underexposure is to control the whitest parts of the owl's plumage and avoid blowing them out and increase slightly the contrast. Just my thoughts.

Soent a couple of hours trying for in flights of Banded demoiselle, using pro capture as in your previous vid. Reinforced how difficult it is, even with new tech and how good a photogrpaher you are. Silly question but where did you get the cam shirt? I can't find a lightweight one with collar for love nor money?
