I’ve been rewatching several of these clips today and I notice how easily the emperor is swayed by anyone suggesting something to him. Like he must be very stupid. I don’t think the Chinese empire was as inbred as the European royalty would become, but he still seems like if anyone just said a little whisper he’d immediately be swayed to their thinking, like how Ruyi ends up.

剧情倒还好，比较中庸；但是这个片段，画面极美。镜头内故意展现紫禁城的各种建筑、家具、器，把中国皇家的精致奢华的生活拍了出来。
這其實不真實，去過紫禁城都知道，紫禁城里根本沒一棵樹存在，因為為了避免刺客隱匿于樹上或樹叢中。
