True, well players like rush and rain that tend to focus their role into the firepower aspect, they keep it up their consistency with training. But IGL's tend to review demos, practice by their own to create and formulate strats and things to improve team play
Stanislaw and Rain got the right mentality, you do it for improvement, not to maintain your level. Reason why players like Xantares and s1mple destroy everyone on FPL, because their individual skill and aim are far above everyone else. Hardwork beats talent and if someone as talented as s1mple is working harder than you then you have no chance in hell.
You practice your aim by playing actual games. Yes deathmatch is nice to warmup your spray and flick aim, but in an actual match there are so much more aspects that will make you win or lose a gunfight that just can't be recreated in dm servers.
When I started playing csgo ai didn't train aim at all because I never played a pc shooter so I started to focus on the support plays which landed me a spot in MGE as first rank which I was told is really good for a first tine player
Be consistent, it will come, there's nothing special about pro players aim, Imo I don't think you can be naturally gifted or naturally bad, just consistency and time
