    The four marks remind me of what in analog synthesis is referred to as A,D,S,R (attack decay, sustain, release). I think John Cage, in his famous piece “4 33” (4 minutes and 33 seconds of silence) was helping us appreciate the vastness of silence that always exists before the first appearance of sound. Thanks for making these helpful teachings available to the RUclips universe.
