Thank you sooo much for this post. I’ve seen them 20 times and that’s not enough. This is my favorite lineup. Everyone of these guys is a master musician. IMO, their last cd, Vinyl Tap, was a disappointment. Likewise Wrapped in a Dream didn’t do much for me. Three Wishes is an absolute masterpiece and a cd I want playing when I’m on my deathbed. So much wonderful music and beauty created by SG. I LOVE their music! Again, thanks for this wonderful post.
Outstanding set! Great to hear several songs in the 2000 set that haven't been in the set for quite some time if not ever since then. 1)Old San Juan 2)Groovin' For Grover 3)Sunrise 4)Silk and Satin 5)Morning Dance 6)Goodbye Porkpie Hat 7)Monsoon 8)The Deep End 9)De La Luz 10)Cayo Hueso 11)Got The Magic Encore: 12)Breakfast At Igor's P.S. Update: Groovin For Grover AND Old San Juan did indeed finally make it back into Spyro setlists after everything locked down for 18 months. In fact it proved to be Tom's last year year and a half touring with Spyro before he moved to Barcelona with his bride. 12:25 Groovin for Grover has yet to be released one year later (2001) 21:50 Yes! It's from 2000, he released his solo album "Eye Contact" and the first track/song is Sunrise.
Neil you are the best. I am Paul + always talk, talked to you before and after Spyro Gyra concerts in Southern California. Only my Paul account has been hacked but good and I am going through hoops trying to regain control. I am Tom Perkins for now. Yes, that was me who wrote the short review regarding last night's Spyro Gyra concert at The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano. Missed seeing you...and was hoping for to see Dave Hopley but he probably was busy out at The Temecula Winery.

@@giovannitimmermans8086 I heard the whole concert and it’s not on here … could have been a 2nd set ?? They may have played 2 sets at the HOB …. I remember apart from Captain Karma …they also did Bob Goes To The Store ( with a funny intro narrative by the bass player Scott Ambush ) …. I might be mistaken … could have been at the same place … but different year … but the band was the same .

Sounds like my mix from FOH.
Hi Neil, It sounds really good! The sound is better than the video 😀, I hope someone has a better recording.

I thought Captain Karma was one of the tunes as well ?
Hi, can you tell me where on the video?

@@toniant4842 Oke, maybe is somebody who has the other concert.
@@giovannitimmermans8086 I hope you or someone could post that concert … because it was really exceptional …
That's from the house of blues in new orleans i think. I have the audio.
If only the M.C. pronounced their name correctly....lol....
