Thank you for this. These too are my favorite headphones. Mine finally showed a lot of wear on the headband and needed replacement after 10 years. Will share this on the Amazon page. I am sure more people would love a video guide over the manual.
Yo bro, how is the SOULWIT headband replacement holding up now? I wanna replace my headband on my M40x WITHOUT soldering, and this looks like a great alternative.
sup @rayndooma5624 Still holding up! I use it daily while editing (this is on a hook most of the time) but I also use it on set so its still going at it. I don't baby my gear but I also don't throw it around carelessly so its still almost pretty close to new. hope yours will turn out great too!
LOL , you have to remove yellow foam to install this , The instruction video of this product on amazon didn't show that part so your video is a safe man . Can i ask does it feel less comfortable when remove that yellow foam ?? thank you
Yeh when I got them from Amazon it was v2. The v2 instructions show to remove the yellow foam but the amazon link isn't updated and there is a thin included foam with v2. Its maybe a little less comfy but I don't notice a huge difference since the tightness I feel comes more from the Earcups. I actually tried before removing the yellow foam, since I thought i was tripping, to keep it in and then attach the new strap but it wouldn't wrap around properly.
@@CurtisAlvaro I bougt the wicked cushions and they are fantastic, I had 3 diferent earpads and those are the best ones. The originals pinch your ears inside to mutch, they sound very good but not four hours and hours...
@@ceuve1209 I think i saw those! Eventually I want something that cooler on the head - After even like couple hours I get hot and a lil sweaty wearing it for a while so I might look into those!. Thanks for that!
OMG I was hoping a product like this would come out at some point, or maybe I was just not looking hard enough.. It's only 17GBP here in UK too! I hope they last a fair amount of time, hopefully I can use my headphones for many more year to come, without needing a new pair or without using those stupid zip-up cover things..!

@@CurtisAlvaro I wear these all day and have 0 issues: Brainwavz Replacement Earpads for ATH M50X, M50BT
Is this by chance also compatible with M20?
They look similar in size but you'd have to check if it's compatible!
They say not to remove the foam in the amazon page (5th picture) your installing them wrong by removing the foam.
You're not wrong. The instructions from the box, step 4, asks you to remove the foam

Its a nice "fixer upper" for sure. I'm not mad either that its missing the audio technica branding on the headband so it looks clean!
@@CurtisAlvaro i emailed them, the headband is $35 :/
I appreciate the attempt at the all black aesthetics but I couldn't see a damn thing
For sure, will fix for the next one. Will try some more ambient lighting in the next one!
