    Welcome to Rip City. Nassir is going to fit in beautifully with Dame & CJ. His athleticism jumps out which will help Portland's defense and improve their fast break and second chance points.

    Portland’s young core is gonna be amazing in a few years. Simons, Trent, Little, & Zach Collins along with the seasoned vet Dame Lillard, + CJ, Rodney Hood, Whiteside, & Nurkic (who is also only 26). I’d love to get Mikael Bridges and a pick for CJ McCollum though. Bridges is gonna be a lockdown defender, 3 pt shooter, and championship caliber role player.

    Big fan of Nassir’s, but his NBA career is either gonna go the way of Stanley Johnson, or Kawhi Leonard. Kid’s got all the pure talent in the world, has the work ethic, and the physical intangibles. Can he get his shot going? Can he play some D? That’s what he’s gotta work on. Nassir will definitely be a better pro than a college player, I can tell you that much. Without the drag of a classroom environment, and without the drag of a set college offense (that he’ll never use as a pro), he’ll be able to work on his game 24/7, and that will pay dividends.

      @@saylessdee8800 no there is still alot of good players left to choose from if ever porter isnt available it means teams are stupid to take Porter early at 13. most of draft mock draft porter will be in the range of 12 - down.

  • @baderallabadi2778
    @baderallabadi2778 5 лет назад +2

    I honestly dont see any difference between Nassir little and alfarouq aminu or moe harkless. Blazers needed a scoring SF and Nassir seems to only be a defensive stud, which blazers already have. Not sure what blazers GM is doing.

    • @blazerfan2328
      @blazerfan2328 5 лет назад +1

      his shot looks nice and his overall fg% was something like 47%. I think his 3pt shot will develop nicely. anfernee simons played some pick up games with him a couple weeks ago and said Nassir's shot has improved a ton. I think he's quicker than moe and aminu and will be a better finisher at the rim. He shot 77% from the free throw line which is promising. free throw percentage translates to a higher 3pt percentage at the NBA level more than college 3pt% does.

    • @baderallabadi2778
      @baderallabadi2778 5 лет назад

      @@blazerfan2328 I hope so. I got a question for you, would you rather keep our young players and try to win now with dame, or trade collins nassir and a pick for like Kevin Love or a strong all-star veteran?

    • @blazerfan2328
      @blazerfan2328 5 лет назад

      Bader Allabadi idk man it’s tough. I want to see the young guys playing over guys like Evan turner. I really wanna see how we play with ant simons, Collins, skal, and Nassir coming in off the bench or even playing them with dame and CJ every once in awhile.

    • @blazerfan2328
      @blazerfan2328 5 лет назад

      Bader Allabadi I actually thought about it more and I think the should go for k love! I think Portland would be perfect for him!

    • @baderallabadi2778
      @baderallabadi2778 5 лет назад

      @@blazerfan2328 I agree. I think trading for a scoring veteran is the missing piece. The problem with the blazers coaching system is it doesn't allow young players to grow and develop. I feel like we have good young pieces, but they wont develop in the blazers system (example will barton). Also lillard is almost 29 years old, i dont think we can waste 2-3 years developing. It's changing to "must win now" situation. only problem is with even turner and possibly myers leanord and their high paying contracts. If blazers can somehow trade one of them for K.love, al horford, tobbias harris or even jimmy butler, that would be a solid team. Resign kanter, seth, hood and some deep bench players.

    • @luckyluciano6552
      @luckyluciano6552 5 лет назад +1

      Cj _ idk if he doesn’t have any pure talent, the kid just lacked enough skill to translate his HS game to the college game. I feel bad for him; big fan of his during the year. He just...wasn’t that good throughout the year. Really showed flashes, and really turned up the heat in the final games of the year. Can’t blame our system, even though people have been. Sometimes, you’d watch him, and it’s like he didn’t know how to play basketball! Really struggled defensively. Good luck to him, he’ll be a better pro.

    I don’t think he’s gonna he top 7. Celtics got 13th or 14th. They’ll be a lot of teams wanting that pick for this kid if he dropped They got the Celtics getting little. Langford or pj Washington if they don’t trade their picks with Tatum ect ect for AD. Which I think they’ll do personally. If not you can even get Keldon johnson. They have 4 picks. Just in the first. They can draft their next generation lol. Little. Langford. Bol Bol. Keldon Johnson. (Big sleeper) sekou deyoumba. I don’t know about little but i think they could get Little. He might go to Minnesota. But Langford. Keldon Johnson. Bol Bol and pj Washington all in one draft. Lmao. There’s no way they pelican would pass that up. PLUS Tatum. Maybe brown ? I think Danny wants to keep him but if that’s what it takes. AD is the only one bedsides KD or lebron that can come to toe to toe with giannis and Leonard and even be better at times. AD would mop up the east. Plus he wouldn’t mind the Celtics. He’s not like kyrie. He appreciates history and legendary franchises.
