Your succies are amazing. You are adorable and fun to watch. I lived in San Antonio for a brief time in the military originating from San Diego, California And the weather freaked me out and seemed extreme. I’ve been back in San Diego for a long time and just got into succulents because I bought a Graptopetalum Superbum by chance a few years ago that grew into a beast and had so much plant that I pursued propagation to use all the pieces when I replanted. Thank you for the videos :)
I think we don’t mind longer videos from you, so you can show us what you want at that moment. I like that you are really passionate about succulents and want to teach us and show us, pls do more :) You are really cute when you try to hold back, I think you can try in one video to not hold back, it would be really interesting :)
Your "creations" are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! you are very talented. You are easy to listen to and I find your videos very informative, interesting and soothing. Thank you. I've been growing house plants for nearly 50 yrs. I just recently got started with succulents. I have so much to learn. Time to buy perlite.
Hi! Love your channel...I am a newbie but totally addictied to my new succulent babies...I have some important urget t questions I'm hoping you or someone can answer...1. I pulled my leafs off correctly and instead of letting the callus before putting them on dry soul...I instantly put them in the soil...they r all basically I callused now but "Did I ruin them by putting them directly on the soil after popping them off their Mommy?"....2. my next question is...I had a baby growing off it's Mommy and I wanted to separate it and plant it in her own pot....I screwed up and somehow cut the roots off the big Mamma Plant...(the baby has it's roots and is doing fine ..) the mama plant still has a tiny amount of root and I just laid her right back on top of the soil where she was praying she will be ok.... "Is the Mama going to die with Such little roots supporting her?".. thanks for whoever takes the time to answer and give me so advice....
I’m going to take you up on your bet about doing it anywhere. I’m in southern Ontario and I haven’t had a single successful propagation yet. So so many leaves and none have matured. Tried both North and south facing windows to no avail, can’t to it outdoors unfortunately.
I have a succulent leaf that has rooted but no new leaves yet. Will it eventually sprout new leaves. The leaf has gotten a lot bigger with a pretty good root system but no new leaves.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Your videos are super. I have a few succulents and cactus myself and I am in the early stages of how to care for them. In the very beginning, I was either over watering them because I was watering them along with my flowers or would forget about them. When they dried-out that is when I noticed that they did well. Again, thank you..I like that live in the same area as I do. Keep those videos coming and if you have any flowers, share those too.
Hey Christina! I'm glad you're finding the vids helpful ;) And yes- I'm glad we're in the same area too because it can be quite a challenge to keep succulents in Houston and similar climates... I want people to know they're going to have to try a bit harder than others but it is possible and it's very rewarding
Andrea, I read that once you get tiny roots on a leaf, you should reduce watering. The abscence of moisture will encourage the roots to seek out moisture and actually grow more as if they were using intelligence. My own problem has always been over-watering - the leaf just starts to rot, so maybe this is correct theory....what do you think?
hi! so i'm not sure if you'll see this but about over a month ago i plucked the leaves from my succulent and misted them everyday and they are doing well!! but i have a question. so they have roots that are very long and have just had roots for almost 2 weeks and they just keep getting longer. no leaves. what should i do. should i cover the roots?
Dona Addison it's the little things that make it all worthwhile Dont'cha think ? you've got a wonderful delivery and i'm looking forward to watching more. You blow my mind!....Ok, carry-on.
I have 3 succulents (Graptosedum Vera Higgins, Sedum Pachyphyllum Blue, & Sedum Nussbaumerianum Yellow) growing inside with LED lights, (red, blue, & red & blue). I use red& blue, 12 hrs on/off. All 3 plants are strectching. Is there a certain led color best for them? Is 12 on/off need to change? I only water when top soil dry. They are only indoors. I live in Montrose, Houston, TX. Thanks. Randy C.
@@SucsForYou These led's are only red, blue, & red&blue. In this same place I grow air plants. All these plants really being out my great grandmother's FrankOma pottery. So the white lite is the normal one in the ceiling or something different? Thanks for your reply. Randy C
At 6:03 when you said "they're gonna hang on there for a little while longer", about how long did you mean? I have some that have sprouted small plants. It's been about 3 months since I first cut the leaf from the original plant.
I’m 2 years late to the chat here lol so hopefully this finds you! I did my first leaf propagating and had several get roots and little babies. But I gave a bunch with only roots? Do I keep waiting? Do I plant the roots? Give up? 🤷♀️🤣 thanks!
Sucs For You! Awesome! Thanks so much! I’ll get them planted tomorrow! The roots are about an inch long and there’s a ton of roots on each one so fingers crossed
Great creativity with the micro succulents. I like the mini dish garden a lot. I mainly grow gasterias but I am a plant geek so I have everything. I'll definitely do the little fairy garden.
Thank you! I have a gasteria, maybe two but different types... a warty and a small but smooth/hard-leafed variety. I love them! Any tips on keeping them happy would be great!
Hi! If the stems are too weak, it's probably from a lack of wind...are you growing indoors? Try to strengthen them with an electric fan or put them outside if possible.
Those leaves look very plump and smooth to have babies that are well-established like that. After the roots and the baby plant appears how often do you water the soil without the baby plant rotting?
@@SucsForYou I live in the humid Northeast Coast which is really not their natural environment but one could compensate. There is someone with a video that puts the leaf propagation in an egg carton and does absolutely nothing. Dry propagation. There must be a percentage of humidity in the air I assume for this to work.
Step 1. Gently break off a leaf Step 2? How do I lay them down? Step 3? Until I see roots Step 4? Then what do I do? Cover roots little and keep watching them until? Through all this process, do I water them? Then eventually final step. What do I do? So many questions sorry ❤ New to succulents
You're in the right place! I have a playlist all about propagation here: ruclips.net/p/PLJnSKcJcLrVM7917jZwJRn6oVvK5oz0zx And I have an online version of The Succulent Manual, as well as a paperback and eBook that details the answers to your propagation questions here: sucsforyou.com/thesucculentmanual/ If you get stuck or want 1-on-1 advice, you can order an Ask Andrea session here: sucsforyou.com/ask-andrea
So cool. I will check them out. So glad you’re still around. You been doing this for awhile. I am learning a lot from you. Will be in touch with more questions for sure ❤lol
my succulents got rained out ,/ soaked ,I forgot to bring them in one night, do u think I should repot them ? I hate for them to rot since some of them beginning grow , & in plastic container?
Yes! Do it now!! Especially if they're in plastic...You can pull them out of the soil and leave them for a week before worrying about repotting :) Either dump the dirt and wait for it to dry, or go ahead with some new dirt and reuse the old once it's dry again.
so removed a bunch of leaves ready to fall off near the bottom to propagate, (a graptosedum is think??) and i chopped the top off because it had a little flower. On the original root thats still in the soil of the pot will that just sprout a new flower eventually? -new to succulenting-
I think you're asking if the base of the plant you topped will grow new plants... if so, yes! There's a great chance new plants will grow along the stem where the leaves were removed :)
Once the leaves have roots and are now on soil, do you water at all? Or do you let the parent leaf continue to provide everything until you see a baby? I have some with little roots that I just put on soil today. No water at all yet. The soil ( for cactus) was moist out of the bag but in my climate will dry out completely in a day or two. I have them in a bright, non direct sunny window.
Whats the difference between an overwatered and sunburned succulent leaf?? I have a black propagation leaf that's wrinkly but it has a little flower and stem growing. What does that mean?? Sunburned or overwatered??
Just found your channel and am curious about your background as related to succulents. I love these plants and find that I am overwhelmed by the number of new plants I have generated. I simply cannot throw away a viable leaf! Well, it's not really a problem until my friends stop taking my little "offerings". Seriously, are there a lot of succulents that cannot be propagated by leaf cuttings? I haven't had any success with the ruffled Echeverias and a number of other succulents I have not been able to identify yet. Continued success to you!
My background... I guess I just have farmer's blood :) I was raised with plants and animals as my companions (only-child lol). I have so many propagations ... and yes, it's impossible to throw anything away- any stem and leaf could grow a new plant and thinking of that happening in the trash/compost ... :/ I have a section in my garden bed for topped stems and sad plants I call the 'Maybe Grave' - I'll include that in an upcoming video of my backyard succulents. Most of my friends have some of my plants as boarders now and I'm still a bit overwhelmed with so many, so I'm going to try to do some guerilla giveaways- just leave them in random places, and sell off the babies for like a quarter each...though the money will immediately be spent on more sucs :D I had an E. Ruffles leaf propagation going for a while and I'm still sad to say I lost it to the heat last summer, that or me looking at it too much ;) It's supposed to be pretty difficult and I was stoked I'd been partially successful- no bigger than a dime but it had 6 leaves! :( So it is possible!! I have an E. Compton leaf w/ a couple scraggly roots but I'm 99.9% sure nothing is going to come of it. The plant died 3+ ago and the leaf is all I have left ha! My thoughts are the paler the plant, the more it will struggle to propagate. Without a lot of green coloring to photosynthesize by, I think the leaf gives up before new growth can happen. So try your pastels, variegated, and paler colored propagations in the Spring and Fall, and try to use a LOT Of leaves so your odds increase... please keep me posted! I'm on Insta a lot (sucsforyou) - holler there! I'll remember you
loved the video! im from new zealand so the weather gets a bit all over the place here but im trying my best to set up a large succulent farm. its just getting started but I've got high hopes for it!

Hello....I just discovered your RUclips Channel...and I love your work with succulents.I started propagating some of my succulents....but. ....I have no luck with PERLE VON NUREMBERG.The leaves developed roots ....and the the little babies. Then the little babies turn black and die.....What can I DO????I HOPE YOU ANSWER ME.THANKS.....
@@luislomas28 Are you wetting the plants or just the soil? It sounds like they're either rotting from getting wet, overwatered, or possibly too much light or heat...
Thanks for this video. I love all your videos. This might not be exactly on topic, but have you ever tried using ping pong balls to fill the bottoms of too deep pots ? I have such a hard time finding shallow pots . I'm considering putting ping pong balls in the bottom of a pot , covering them with screen , then putting my mix on top of the screen. Seems like the round shape of the balls would allow water through the drainage holes and not suffocate my babies . I hate using up so much of my mix . It makes the pots heavy too . AND they dry out so slowly that I worry about root rot . Seems like the ping pong balls would solve it . Hope you're having a great day . Big hugs 🤗
In theory I think your idea is great! I would only worry about the soil sinking/shifting over time but that's nothing that would affect the health of the plants ;)
Sucs For You! , I think I’ll try it . Nothing to lose . Hopefully, the screen will prevent my soil from sinking. I’ll let ya know how it goes . At least I finally found my calcined clay really cheap . So I don’t feel like each pot costs a fortune to fill . Haha ! Using so much of my precious pumice felt like throwing diamonds into each planter 😂😂😂😂.
Sucs For You! Thank you so much! Got a call today from a store that’s an hour away. They have pumice and they’re holding two bags for me ! YIPPEE ! I definitely save the pretty pumice for too dressing . I can’t believe I’m finally gonna have some decent sized bags of pumice that won’t cost an arm and a leg ! Woo hoo 😂🤗
I wish you tell us your temperature at this time . And the temperature under the patio where you put the leaves to prop. Do you leave them outside all night
Hi Josie! Houston has milder winters but it can still snow and freeze here. This video was made in February so it was probably between 50-65ºF (10-18c). If it is going to stay lower than 45F for more than a few days, I'll try to bring my more sensitive plants inside. I also have a grow light on my porch to help keep things warmer :)
Do Topsy Turvey Succulants have their babies grow from shoots that you cut off like you did with that one today? Or are those shoots just a bloom? Thanks
Most Echeveria types don't make the long stem babies but several can and do! I've had it happen with an E. diffractens and a Graptoveria Fred Ives so far :)
Question - for the three little succulents that you have on the small terracotta tray (that have babies growing and leaves still attached) do you water those on the tray, or will those actually be moved back to the dirt tray to root in?
I got few leaves from the bottom of my succulent pot...i didn't pluck it...seems its naturally dropped off....is there any chance for propogating it....
Thank you for the best insights ever! i have a few older succulents that look like they might be over growing their current pots - if i re-plant them in larger ones, will they continue to get bigger and bigger? And one more thing, I'm so nervous and careful around my current propagates because they seem so fragile. Will it harm them if I remove their baby roots from the top of the soil that they have started to establish their growth in? Thanks again for being such an incredible resource :)
Hi Hannah! Most plants have a max size but to max them out, they need to be in bigger pots or in the ground, so you're on the right track ;) And I'm not quite sure about question 2 - what do you mean by remove their roots from the top of soil? Do you mean relocate a leaf that's already rooted in place? That's fine- they're pretty tough and will grow more roots ;)
Hi! just have a doubt. Once you've cut off the head, waited for it to callous and then buried it in dirt, how long does it take to grow roots? Also you should not water till it has grown roots right? But when it's buried in dirt how do you know whether it's rooted?
It can take a week or a several weeks depending on season. Spring through fall is usually faster :) You can check for roots by lightly pulling up on the plant. It's okay to lightly dampen the soil especially if you're in a more arid climate, but remember no roots = nowhere for the water to go.
love your video's, your awesome... this is my first time propagating like 20 different succulents and just noticed like a week ago that some of the roots are above the dirt and they look Brownish...what dose it mean?? help
Thanks Michelle! Maybe the roots are drying out from being exposed to air? Just add a lil more dirt to help hold them in place if they're trying to run away :)
new fan here! I'm a florist by trade...but I enjoy learning about horticulture.. greetings from Houston as well.. im in the Westchase area. I just started a succulent garden, perfect for summer time.
Hi neighbor! I grew up on the westside and return often ;) All the good food is out that way! Good luck with your garden- it's challenging but even more rewarding!
Are mini flowering Kolanchoe hard to propagate ? My cuttings get kinda wimpy, and then its done...what do you think about splitting a double stalk in half from a healthy plant..Sandy...thanks
I feel like my succulent refuses to let me propagate its leaves. not a single one has rooted out of 15 leaves. Iv'e tried air, water and on soil. and nothing. I've tried indoor and outdoor. nothing. Nothing will grow from the leaves. The only thing that has worked so far is taking small ones that have grown on the stem of the mother plant. Like an aloe plant. any advice? or know if i have a type of plant that just doesn't grown from leaves?
@@SucsForYou Another channel replied to my question and told me that there are some types of succulents that do not grow from its leaves, like a rose cabbage. Which turns out to be what i have lol i felt a bit silly not knowing what it was called. I got it from a fruit&veg farmers stall and he just told me it was a large succulent type. no name, but Its flowers are stunning so i just got them lol
Your video was very helpful thank you so much !! One of my full grown succulent has developed another baby succulent but it's attached to the stem,is there anything I could do to pot it in it's own pot?
I love your succulents❤.i have a question though. If the leaf i use to propagate have roots but doesnt have new leaves growing, will it stll have a chance to grow new leaves? Ty
My leaf is pretty much dead but has a nice bigg baby growing from it, however no roots! It's in a tray. Is this something I would just bury a bit in a small pot and hope it grows roots?
Great video! I have a question. When the leaves are rooting while still attached to the stem, do i just place it in soil, or do give it a days outside the soil? They're pretty long pink/clear roots
Go ahead and put in the dirt! You can try to bury the roots but they get a little rebellious sometimes. I'll use a little rock to pin the leaf in place if it topples over. A little squirt of water to the roots every other day or so and you're going to have yourself an independent succulent soon!
Hi! So my Lola’s are translucent at the baby making end on the leaves I picked off to propagate. Now the plant is healthy and happy but the leaves are weird looking. Not to mention 5-7 days after picking of the main plant poof they go clear, not rotting but clear and shriveled. What do you is wrong because I learned the watering schedule of the Lola’s (2 plants actually doing the same thing) and I nearly lost one of the plants due to over watering but got to it before it went to rot. So I can’t figure it out. Oh and my von nurnberg’s.....I get roots and then they turn black! They are imby no means near sunlight it’s far away indirect sunlight so the roots can’t possibly be burning. But drying up and going skinny and black.
Hi Andrea! how should I water baby sucs that just got planted in their own pot? I am just spraying water daily on those leaves that are sprouting new baby plants and I have a few that I'm thinking of transferring to small pots. Will watering the soil cause rot or should I continue spraying? Thanks!
Try to keep the leaves dry and target the roots with a little water. Also keep out of direct sunlight after watering (wet leaves + bright light....water magnifies the heat and it will burn the leaves!). Let the soil dry out between waterings so the plant is encouraged to send out more roots. Keep an eye out for a demo of various watering methods :D

Hi Ashely! It sounds like you did everything right :) Both should be fine!
I’m going to take you up on your bet about doing it anywhere. I’m in southern Ontario and I haven’t had a single successful propagation yet. So so many leaves and none have matured. Tried both North and south facing windows to no avail, can’t to it outdoors unfortunately.
Oh my! Those baby variety pots are so adorable! I want one so bad!
Me too! Lol
I have a succulent leaf that has rooted but no new leaves yet. Will it eventually sprout new leaves. The leaf has gotten a lot bigger with a pretty good root system but no new leaves.
Great timing! I just wrote this a couple of hours ago: sucsforyou.com/2020/06/25/succulent-leaf-propagation-observations/
Thank you so much! Great article!
I have a leaf that I propagated and a new stem grew from it. I removed that leaf, can I propagate it again? The leaf looks in good shape.
I have found that if you let them dry out completely like a cactus, they love that too, even during propogation.

Yep! Best to not water at all until you see roots and very little once they come in so they keep producing.
*Very nice 👌*
Hello , love yours little cute succulents garden ideas, very neat organise. Thanks for sharing from Australia.
Thank you!!
Aw those perle vons are super cute!
I love this video! It's very informative and now I'm pretty confident in propagating my succulents! Thanks! :)
BIG SMILES OVER HERE! :D Thanks for watching and feel free to drop by w/ any new questions
Love your layered pots! Just adorable!
Thanks Wanda!
Great video. The video was clear and I love how you have your set up.
Thanks so much!
hi! so i'm not sure if you'll see this but about over a month ago i plucked the leaves from my succulent and misted them everyday and they are doing well!! but i have a question. so they have roots that are very long and have just had roots for almost 2 weeks and they just keep getting longer. no leaves. what should i do. should i cover the roots?
Yes ma'am just cover the roots with dirt and spray the dirt over the roots with water -try not to get the leaves wet
Loved your video and your goofiness ☺ ty for the tips. I'd love to know how often to water cuttings
Glad it was helpful!! Here's a more recent prop-watering vid - ruclips.net/video/e-mzR6vI2KI/видео.html

Awesome video! Thank you!! I love those stacked pots that looks SO cool
Thanks for watching!
Thanks. Randy C.
Start leaving the lights on for an hour longer each day until you hit 16 hours on. I use white full spectrum and keep them on 14 hours a day.
@@SucsForYou These led's are only red, blue, & red&blue. In this same place I grow air plants. All these plants really being out my great grandmother's FrankOma pottery. So the white lite is the normal one in the ceiling or something different? Thanks for your reply. Randy C
@@randycorrell1571 The white lights are designed for plants - you can learn more about what I use here: sucsforyou.com/category/light/
Idk why but wiggling it never gives me a clean break, but pushing it downwards does. Maybe it just depends from person to person and plant to plant
At 6:03 when you said "they're gonna hang on there for a little while longer", about how long did you mean? I have some that have sprouted small plants. It's been about 3 months since I first cut the leaf from the original plant.
I really try to let the leaf dry completely until it falls off naturally :)
I’m 2 years late to the chat here lol so hopefully this finds you! I did my first leaf propagating and had several get roots and little babies. But I gave a bunch with only roots? Do I keep waiting? Do I plant the roots? Give up? 🤷♀️🤣 thanks!
You can plant the roots sure! They may be 'duds' but sometimes it takes a long time to see leaves.
Sucs For You! Awesome! Thanks so much! I’ll get them planted tomorrow! The roots are about an inch long and there’s a ton of roots on each one so fingers crossed
@@Ashe4497 how did it go?! 😍🌱
I dont know but. I love succulents and your hair is beautiful
Love your chatty style. Love from Brisbane
Thise baby pots are soooo cute ♡ planning to start my own cacti and succulent garden wish me luck

Helpful video. Thank you.
What do you do if the succulent grows from propagation and it's too skinny and doesn't stand?
Weekly or so - and yes, these are great leaf propagators! It's humid here so they didn't dry up.
@@SucsForYou I live in the humid Northeast Coast which is really not their natural environment but one could compensate. There is someone with a video that puts the leaf propagation in an egg carton and does absolutely nothing. Dry propagation. There must be a percentage of humidity in the air I assume for this to work.
Hi Andrea😊! Učim od tebe i hvala ti puno🥰. Jako mi se sviđa tvoj kanal😍. Pozdrav, Nada iz Croatia😘🤗
Hvala na podršci!
I have got four babies from one leave ). The mother leave came naturally off. When is the right time to separate the babies? Thank you for the video.
Neat!! You can leave them together until they develop stronger stems then separate :)
Wow thanks for sharing your knowledge, you answered all of my questions. Have a wonderful day
Thank you so much Jenn!!
Yes she's awesome with her succulents!
Do you recommend me using terracotta pots for succulents? Or I can use any with drainage hole, painted? Thx so much
This is a very informative channel. Wonderful personality and interesting videos.
Thank you kindly!
How do u know when they have roots once planted?
You can peek but make sure the soil is dry :)
Step 1. Gently break off a leaf
Step 2? How do I lay them down?
Step 3? Until I see roots
Step 4? Then what do I do?
Cover roots little and keep watching them until?
Through all this process, do I water them?
Then eventually final step. What do I do?
So many questions sorry ❤

Thank you so much. My mother in law gave me an Echeveria Nnoduiosa. I feared I almost killed it. But this is still hope for it yet.
my succulents got rained out ,/ soaked ,I forgot to bring them in one night, do u think I should repot them ? I hate for them to rot since some of them beginning grow , & in plastic container?
Yes! Do it now!! Especially if they're in plastic...You can pull them out of the soil and leave them for a week before worrying about repotting :) Either dump the dirt and wait for it to dry, or go ahead with some new dirt and reuse the old once it's dry again.
Hi, great video. You answered heaps of questions I had around propagation of succulents. Loved the potting ideas you included - very creative. thanks
Thank you so much!
so removed a bunch of leaves ready to fall off near the bottom to propagate, (a graptosedum is think??) and i chopped the top off because it had a little flower.
Try not watering until the parent leaf starts withering. Then you can dampen the soil around the roots to help supplement :)
Agree with that for sure! My motto no roots no water.
Whats the difference between an overwatered and sunburned succulent leaf?? I have a black propagation leaf that's wrinkly but it has a little flower and stem growing. What does that mean?? Sunburned or overwatered??
I'm guessing it's from water - sunburned looks more dry and scarred
Most of my friends have some of my plants as boarders now and I'm still a bit overwhelmed with so many, so I'm going to try to do some guerilla giveaways- just leave them in random places, and sell off the babies for like a quarter each...though the money will immediately be spent on more sucs :D
I had an E.
I'll remember you
I learn a lot from this video...thanks so much! You are a blessing
Thank you SO much Ethel!
Any suggestions on a go to soil mixture? What kind of pebbles do you prefer?

Hello....I just discovered your RUclips Channel...and I love your work with succulents.I started propagating some of my succulents....but. ....I have no luck with PERLE VON NUREMBERG.The leaves developed roots ....and the the little babies. Then the little babies turn black and die.....What can I DO????I HOPE YOU ANSWER ME.THANKS.....
Maybe they're getting too much sun? Are you watering them?
@@SucsForYou Yes...after the leaves spring the little babies....I DO water them with a spray bottle.....
@@luislomas28 Are you wetting the plants or just the soil? It sounds like they're either rotting from getting wet, overwatered, or possibly too much light or heat...
You remind me A LOT of Mary Louise Parker :) love your videos! Thank you!
Ha!! Thank you!
I'm glad you found calcined clay!! I know exactly what you mean lol! Save the pretty pumice for top dressings and really special/picky plants ;)
Besides looks, are there any other benefits for growing succulents such as air purifier? I’m new to this.
Sure! Most plants are air purifiers and I think working with them is peaceful and relaxing as long as they're not misbehaving and dying :p
Question - for the three little succulents that you have on the small terracotta tray (that have babies growing and leaves still attached) do you water those on the tray, or will those actually be moved back to the dirt tray to root in?
I put them back in the dirt ;)
I got few leaves from the bottom of my succulent pot...i didn't pluck it...seems its naturally dropped off....is there any chance for propogating it....
You should know in a few weeks :)
That's fine- they're pretty tough and will grow more roots ;)
oh perfect! that's exactly what i meant, thank you so much for your response :)
You're welcome!
Hi! just have a doubt.
@@SucsForYou thanks for the reply.
love your video's, your awesome... this is my first time propagating like 20 different succulents and just noticed like a week ago that some of the roots are above the dirt and they look Brownish...what dose it mean?? help
Thanks Michelle! Maybe the roots are drying out from being exposed to air? Just add a lil more dirt to help hold them in place if they're trying to run away :)
Thanks for this video 😍 i have a question, why mine are just roots coming out from the leaves? No new leaves

What happened with your Fusion the little X Pearl Von? I'm dying to see what it turned out to be :-)
Are mini flowering Kolanchoe hard to propagate ? My cuttings get kinda wimpy, and then its done...what do you think about splitting a double stalk in half from a healthy plant..Sandy...thanks
That's what I would do! Smaller pieces might require less energy to put down new roots ;)
You can google the type of plant you have and search for the propagation methods for that type :)

That purple plant with the bigger pvn, how do you propagate it? Ty
Senecio crassissimus 'Lavender Steps' propagate through stem cuttings :)
I’m currently propagating leaves ...when do you plant them and when does that leave come off baby..on its own?
My leaf is pretty much dead but has a nice bigg baby growing from it, however no roots! It's in a tray. Is this something I would just bury a bit in a small pot and hope it grows roots?
What's the name of the purple succulent I been looking to buy one
Echeveria Perle von Nurnberg
Great video! I have a question. When the leaves are rooting while still attached to the stem, do i just place it in soil, or do give it a days outside the soil? They're pretty long pink/clear roots
Go ahead and put in the dirt! You can try to bury the roots but they get a little rebellious sometimes. I'll use a little rock to pin the leaf in place if it topples over. A little squirt of water to the roots every other day or so and you're going to have yourself an independent succulent soon!
Hey Daniela! How's the baby growin?
I just recently found your channel and subscribed. I am enjoying all your videos I have seen. Your such a sweet person and you have a good heart 💜 🩵💙
Thanks Tracey! Glad you found me! Happy growing!
