When I realize that it has been more than four years that I use the perfum of his ad 😭😭
This advert drove me crazy in heathrow airport while i waited 6 hours, alone (nobody else around), by the check-in desks waiting to fly to cuba. it played on loop non-stop on a big screen for the whole of those 6 hours.
Tom Sotthewes this commercial is absolute garbage. no plot no story, i didnt even know what it was advertising until the last 5 seconds of the video. every time i see this ad on youtube i want to blow my brains out.
Tom Sotthewes if it was a model commercial yeah all of that would matter. But when doing advertising rule #1 is make sure people know what the ad is about. This commercial is the equivalent of nikki minaj shaking her ass through a whole ad and then at the end putting on some brand lipstick or something. Sure sex and sexyness sells but it's the laziest way to advertise.
Tom Sotthewes I hate ads that use famous people as their only catch. "if you wear nikes you will jump as high as Jordan, if you wear this cologne you will magically look as sexy as this actor." It's just stupid to me that people actually get deluded into thinking that.

Cody Ford it’s supposed to weird but they’re is a story to it you really have to watch it multiple times and dive deep into thought and once you do that’s when you find what you think the ad is about this company really likes making ads like this that are really abstract honestly I prefer these ads more than most ads that have too simple of a storyline or are too weird in my opinion it’s about a director who once had a relationship with the blonde girl but then she moved away and that’s all he could think about and now he’s in a relationship with the black haired girl but he still can’t stop thinking about the blonde girl then he sees her in a interview but then again it’s up for interpretation

The best fragrance imo. Gets a lot of “hate” for smelling generic, but it’s only generic today because so many other fragrances have tried to emulate it. To me it still smells 10x better than any other blue fragrance.

This commercial is just a work of art. And Gaspard was the PERFECT choice for this. I love Chanel (I wear it everyday) and I love Gaspard so this is just two of my favourite things in one one-minute commercial. Scorsese is a legend!

I think scorsese definitley has a story behind this. But it's not a movie so I think he gave the viewer the opportunity to use their imagination in a certain way to either build a story or just relate to it

Well... to me the story is about a guy, probably a famous director or photographer that had a romance with the blonde girl. He's in a relationship with the dark haired woman, but keeps remembering the blonde one.. . Searching for her. ... The woman leaves him. .. maybe she knows... he's alone... And then he's at this interview. .. people probably asking many questions about his life, etc. .. he seems uncomfortable and suddenly he sees the blonde girl again. ... she's one of the reporters... when he realizes that he makes a decision to Not Be The Person That He Is Expected To Be... which means. ... fuck it, I'll do whatever I want. .. I'll be the way I want. .. And the fragrance is very good... I like it.
